    Hmm...I wonder why?
Because the man can fight. Flat out. It takes two people to fight, Margarito seems ready and willing for anyone. It's the other sides that aren't coming to the table.

So go ahead, hate on the guy some more.

Santos already did twice and he beat him twice

I'm not the biggest Margarito supporter but he does deserve an oppurtunity to show if he is as good as he say he is.He is scheduled to fight Joshua Clottey next. This should be another Marg beatdown. He hasn't really beat anyone of note.He ko'd the glass chinned Andrew Lewis and the inexperienced Kermit Cintron. Those are decent names on your record and in time I feel his victory over Cintron will be more impressive but beating him at that point in Cintron's career isn't that impressive.Let's be honest though a lot of people thought that Kermit could beat him but when the fight happened the experince difference was too much for Kermit and he was slaughtered.I'm just saying give him a chance either he'll show that he is a world class fighter or he will be exposed.

margarito has bob arum who is one of the two top promoters in the world so why hasnt arum set up a big match for margarito yet? he couldve paid off a sanctioning body and got margarito a fight against someone good for a change

his biggest win by far is ****ing kermit cintron who was an up and coming young prospect that struggled and nearly got dropped by ****ing washed up blown up teddy reid

Furthermore, Santos is not feather fisted. He has average power, and he lands a lot of shots and has a good style with those fast hands. Of course now he is going downhill, and part of that is why? The damage Margarito did to him.
STFU clown. Margarito is a walking robot who has no defense and Ive seen him be shook up. Floyd would beat this kid so easy. Floyd only weighs 147 which makes it even more special that he can kick Margarito's ass. You say all these things about how Santos is quick, lands alot of shots and has a good style. Floyd is that times 10. If he cant handle Santos speed and boxing ability then what would he do against Floyd?

Margarito is so overated and will get owned the minute he steps up. I bet if he fought Zab right now that he would get KTFO

Dude welcome to a couple of years ago.

Margarito is like one of the few people that nobody wants to fight. Arum could make a damn offer to several top fighters...that would be a nice paycheck. The risk of fighting Margarito is absolutely huge.

You seem to not understand how boxing works man. You can't always judge a fighter based on opposition faced alone, and you can't underestimate what gets people talking around boxing.

Many fighters, experts, critics and journalists have expressed their interest in watching Margarito fight...because they can see what makes him such a threat to win fights.

Oh and Diaz, Lewis, Kyvelos, Perez and Cintron are not bad opponents to face....especially when you're trying to make a name for yourself in boxing.

Ill say it again. If you cant get any fights then you move up in weight. Trust me, the guys up there will fight him easy. Let him go fight Ouma, Karmazin, Quartay, or whoever. All of them will fight him but he wont because he wont have the huge size advantage that he has at 147 and if he gets owned by Santos then you know what the big dogs will do to him.

He wants to stay at 147 because its his best weight? So, Floyd's best weight is at 140 but he's fighting at 147 and now wants to go to 154 so why cant Margarito do that if he's so tough? He wont do it because he wont have the huge size advantage that he has at 147 where most of the guys came from lower divisions. If they can move up then why cant he? Dont tell me that he cant get fights at 154.

If Floyd fights Oscar and Margarito beats even someone like Ouma then Floyd would have to fight him but the problem is that he knows if he moves up then he wont beat those guys and doesnt have that same power at 154

** Then why ain't PurtyGrrl taking the easy money his own promoter is offering?

Answer: Because Margarito ain't in love with PurtyGrrl like you and will lump him up and knock him out. PurtyGrrl is a 147 lb weakling and needs to go back to struggling with lightweights if he ain't gonna fight anyone at welt!

Don't give me any Oscar baloney either. Oscar don't even know what he's gonna do next. He might retire, challenge Wright, give Vargas a rematch if he beats Mosley, or go another 20 months without fighting.

You can't put Margorito in the same class as Hearns he has to do more before you do that otherwise that's disrespectful.People he's fighting Oscar and anybody on here would to. You woulden't work your daily job for quadruple the pay? Ok then so I like this idea of Hatton fighting Margorito since both are talented but hard to gage how could because of their resumee's, but this would let PBF get his 20 plus. And Margorito and Hatton would have a great fight which would lead to the winner facing prettyboy in a megafight. I bet Margorito would do it but Hatton's team would prob make some excuse wanting to protect their fighter.
