We saw Jacobs vs. Quillen, we saw Thurman vs. Porter, we saw LSC vs. Frampton, we saw Easter Jr. vs. Comney, we saw Payano vs. Warren II, we saw Jack vs. Bute, and we saw Frampton vs. Quigg. You still haven't seen Pacquiao vs. Crawford. You still haven't seen GGG vs. Canelo. We didn't see GGG vs. Eubank Jr., or GGG vs. Saunders. Where is Luis Ortiz? Where's Rigondeaux? Boxing is failing, not just the PBC!
My point is PBC puts on great fights and then there is no follow up. Jacobs has fought Mora in nearly a year and Quillen hasn't even got a fight scheduled. Jacobs has lost much of that momentum. Frampton said he'd fight LSC again and wanted to do so in December. Nada. Jack and DeGale is an obvious match-up but it is taking an age to put together that fight - meanwhile both lose momentum.

I'm not saying that PBC doesn't put on great fights. I'm saying that they should be able to put on more good fights considering they have a roster of 200 odd fighters and also they should have their fighters fighting more often so they can make in roads into the public consciousness. Build up a head of steam. They have failed in that aspect. By all means pay your fighters more but write it into their contracts that they have to fight 2/3 times a year. Otherwise what have you got?

If a fighter wants to stay active there should be a way. Golovkin is avoided by other MWs but he still finds a way to make 3 fights a year on ave. Rigo is a lost cause. Ditto Saunders. Crawford should be more active. But when you consider the hype that was around Thurman 2 years ago, around Garcia 3 years ago and then you look at how Crawford has progressed then you can see a difference.

No promoter has been consistent. Jack and DeGale fought in April, the fight (according to Hearn) will happen this year. Jacobs vs. GGG (according to Loeffler) is going to happen this year. Frampton vs. LSC should be happening this year (according to SkySports). Most boxers only fight twice a year, not just Haymon fighters.

I believe Frampton has no choice but to fight Santa Cruz. It was in their contract and Leo immediately invoked his rematch clause! I don't know what would happen to Frampton if he refused? Would be a lawsuit of course and probably have to pay Leo some good $$$ on whatever he got from his new fight. I think the WBC would probably strip a new champion if they refused? But I could be wrong.

I agree with everything you said. He's scary talented but the way his career has been managed is criminal.

Andrade is good, but GGG would break him. He could make it a fight, but Andrade is hitable and his power isn't gonna bother GGG.
