I seriously dont think you saw the fight, and not to mention, Chavez was one of the dirtiest fighters ive ever seen, he would do anything to get you out of your game.
Mexicans from Mexico tend to have alot of problems with fighters who actually move and fight in a slick manner, we have seen it time and again, because the style they teach out there is more based on taking alot of punches and dishing it as well, with more emphasis on offense and minimal emphasis on head movement and defense.
Whitaker fought how a true boxer should fight, moving and hitting without getting hit.Comment

FACT - These "facts" are actually OPINIONSOriginally posted by PeterpHear a lot of talk about who should fight who. Take this into account
FACT - Oscar has only one fight left in him
FACT - Hatton and Margurito are gunning for PBF, PBF currently is the Man
FACT - PBF is a bigger name draw in the US than Hatton and Margurito, Oscar aint going to England to fight, forget that
FACT - PBF DESERVES at this point in time the Oscar fight more than Hatton or Margurito
FACT - Once Oscar has retired, there's plenty of time in the next 1-2 years for both Hatten and Margurito to get their shots at PBF, if they are smart, they will spend the next year building themselves up more so they are worth more when their time comes.
FACT - If Oscar does fight PBF in September, we will almost definitely NEVER see the fight, whereas there is still plenty of time to see PBF fight other opponents
FACT - the Casual Sporting public wants to see PBF v DLH. Sure more hardcore boxing fans may want other matchups, but it is the casual boxing fans who make the difference between a decent amount of PPV buys and a huge amount of PPV buys
Now we have PBF saying he wants the fight, it doesn't sound like Floyd Snr will be as big an obstacle as expected, i reckon we are ready to rock n roll ! If they are smart, they will announce the fight by the end of May and allow over 3 months of solid hype.Comment

Those opinions are well stated, and are backed with an argument that makes sense and goes along with actual logic, rather than rabid fanboy speculation. Taking into account public intrest, resume's etc, what he said makes sense.Comment

If whitaker stood in there and tried to trade with chavez that would have been ******, not to mention, it wouldnt have been whitakers style. the point is, Chavez lost the ****in fight, period, no way in hell that fight should have been what it was. They gave Chavez that benefit because it was Chavez, thats it.
Which regardless, proved the point that most mexican trained fighters struggle against guys who can be slick and move out of the way.Comment
