It kind of looks like it.
Lol, did Kovalev wear bigger gloves against Chilemba?

Idk for sure if he did or not but white gloves always give the illusion that they are bigger than the opponent's gloves (if they are wearing a diff color).
White gloves always look bigger.Comment

Im just going to go out on a limb and say he went into this fight not wanting to hurt his hands and had no fear of losing to Chilemba. He dropped him in the seventh and knew he was going to win going away and got some experience against an awkward dude. His gloves are noticeably bigger to me and Im not one of these guys who cant be wrong. Is he wearing 14 oz gloves? 16oz? Those arent sparring gloves are they?Comment

They do not look bigger because they are white, they look bigger because they are bigger. He said in an interview he wore bigger gloves in this fight, to "save them for Ward."
Kovalev could strap 50oz pillows on his fists and still beat Chilemba, Andre Ward, or anybody else at 175. He did it because he can do whatever he wants in the ring, and he still won't lose.
Because he's the P4P King, and he will solidify that title that I already handed to him long ago, on November 17th.Comment
