Miguel Canto is the best example. One of the best defensive boxers of all time.

Sal Sanchez was a special talent.

Chavez was amazing. ATG offence with a great defence.

I think op means guys with hands down, quick reflex styles.

There has never been a Mexican fighter like that.

In the US, that style was popularised by Ali and be under no illusion, every black fighter in the US since has wanted to be the next Ali.

Comparing America to Latin America is far more comparable. As for Latinos on a whole they have tons of slicksters Happy Lora, Wilfredo Gomez, Locche, Zapata, Laguna, Marcel, Miguel Canto, Pascual Perez, Gregorio Peralta list goes on and on.

Floyd can only dream of having defensive skills like Happy did. The Latin Pernell

Sanchez was pure excellence. He is Roy Jones' all time favorite fighter.

Marquez has a very Black style. That's why he was never loved in Mexico. Barrera and Morales were much more embraced as is Canelo now.
