Yep. I don't know, has he always had the same trainer? Sometimes things so obvious to fans seem to escape the fighter's training camp. Baffles me.

He has some old guy in his corner @4:00. I didn't pay attention to his corner vs. Braehmer.

No way old man could keep up the pace. Old man did what old men do, went home and took a nap.

"Regular LHW Champion" WTF I'm sure an "Irregular Champion " is just around the corner.
Good action fight though. Cleverly has lots of heart but he gets hit way too much.
For his sake, I hope he does the rematch and retires, cause if he fights anybody with a punch, it's lights out for Nathan.

Doesn't matter how Braehmer lost, any time one of Sauerland's fraud paper belt holders lose it's good for boxing. Sauerland fights always involve rematch clauses, and will be interesting to see who wins the bid because Braehmer would never agree to fight away from home

I agree! Braehmer needs to earn his way back to another shot.

              HA HA HA. AWESOME!

Just watched the fight ... Undercard material at best and Braehmer losing like he always wins, in BS fashion... Good opportunity for retirement but sadly won't happen...

Maybe his Pop is still training him...

In September 2008, the young boxer chose to leave Enzo Calzaghe's Newbridge boxing club where he had trained throughout his career and begin training at his father's gym in South Wales. Speaking about his decision to leave the gym Cleverly said "I have been trained by Enzo Calzaghe for six years since my youth days so leaving him has been one of the hardest decision I've ever had to make ... Enzo is largely responsible for where I am in my career and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me." Cleverly had been concerned following the legal wranglings between promoter Frank Warren and his former stablemate Joe Calzaghe and added "I cannot take any chances with my career ... I take boxing very seriously and want to be world champion. Hopefully Frank can sort that out for me."

Oh look a Brit ' Winning ' a world title once again in a fluke victory: you got Flanagan with his world title when Zepeda blew his shoulder, Anthony Joshua with Glazvoks knee giving out vs. Martin, Haskins Winning his on the scales ; Tony Bellew getting his hands on the WBC because they stripped Drozd...and now Bum Cleverly getting it this way......UK boxing.

Wow just watched this one, great fight high tempo, but I had Braehmer winning this one when it was stopped. I think maybe Nathan had the first but other than that the 6th and maybe 4th went his way. Congratulations on winning the WBA 'Regular' title but he gets hit a lot and will get hurt should he fight Kovalev again. He has a great work rate though and would like to see the rematch.
