Had Braehmer up 5-1 or 4-2. Clev lucky he got injured. Neither guy looks like a top 5 LHW.

Braehmer (apparently) dislocated his elbow. Close fight with Braehmer boxing craftier and landing the heavier shots but Clev as ever throwing in volume. I had Braehmer up though could have seen him fading later, but close rounds.

what do you think of a George Groves vs Cleverly (Rumors Groves has a hard time making 168, so its this his chance to get a belt at 175), The rematch with Braehmer could take sometime now that his hurt

Hmm..i wonder if he was feeling the pace of the fight there.

I had Braehmer 4-2 up. Shame..as it was shaping up into a fun (if sloppy) fight.

Anyway..well done Cleverly. I'm sure we will see a rematch.

Normally I'd give the fighter the benefit of the doubt but have to agree with this.
Wanted out and has made up an excuse to try save face.

I mean if you are left handed & dislocate your right arm would you really extend your right arm to shake somebodies hand?

                Cleverly wins via Braehmer quitting.

Braehmer was slowing down and feeling it, he took the easy way out.

Is there really no stipulation preventing a champion from losing their title due to injury like this? That's really unfair unless Cleverly landed a punch that injured him.

Braehmer definitely quit tonight...he literally got caught up with the pace that cleverly was keeping up with and he didn't prepare for this kind of Cleverly at all. Cleverly knew he would wear Braehmer down tonight and that's what he did to become a 2 times world champion!

Of course not otherwise any champion losing in the 12th round can just fake an injury.
