Not exactly true. Anyone can check the transcripts to see the truth of this..Ward called out GGG one hour after it was announced that GGG had a contract to fight Lemieux.....this can be checked out for a fact in the transcripts……second of all GGG's team had been trying to come to an agreement for two years with Ward....the problem was first Ward was in trouble with law suits with Goossen...they were suing each other....Goosen won the lawsuit three times.....then Ward signed with Roc Nation....the first thing Roc Nation said was that Ward needed two tune up fights before they would let Ward fight GGG...then Ward fought one fight at 172 pounds....GGG and his team got tired of waiting for Andre Ward to make up his mind what he wanted to do...then look at the numbers....Ward fought in his own home town and he could not put 4000 people in the arena....Ward fought at the Citizens centre and there were only 3000 people....every single word I have put here can be checked out by anybody simply by looking at the transcripts....and if that is not enough for you then here is a video by Tom Loeffler.....either Loeffler is lying or Ward is lying....only problem with that is that the transcripts will back up Loeffler and not Ward -

Super middleweight world champion Andre Ward, who has cleaned out the 168-pound division, is moving on to the next stage of his career at light heavyweight.
Ward (28-0, 15 KOs), 31, of Oakland, California, will move up in weight and fight at 175 pounds for the first time in the Miguel Cotto-Canelo Alvarez co-feature on Nov. 21 (HBO PPV) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports, Ward's promoter, announced on Thursday night.
The fight will be the first of an exclusive three-fight contract that Ward has signed with HBO. It will also include a fight in the spring of 2016, followed by a fall pay-per-view showdown with three-belt light heavyweight world titleholder Sergey Kovalev (28-0-1, 25 KOs), who is also under contract to HBO. Kovalev and his promoter, Main Events, have also agreed to terms.

Your url is from just a month ago friend. Abel is trying to make it sound like Ward wasn't into doing a SMW fight with GGG a year or two ago. Yes, currently, Ward has no SMW plans, and may even go to CW eventually I would guess. That quote is from after Ward moved to 175 and fought at 175 which occured after GGG turned down his offer. You guys enjoy twisting facts. Heres the facts, GGG was offered the same agreement that Ward offered Kovalev, which was before the lemuix fight was announced, GGG turned down, so Ward moved up. Ward's offer was to fight GGG at 168, so all this "he can't make 168" bull schit means nothing because the fight would have been contracted at a weight of 168 lbs. And if Ward was struggling to make 168, then it would have been a major advantage for GGG. Your question, and everyone elses quite frankly, should be, why when Ward was offering 168, GGG's people wanted 164, but when Ward moved to 175 and stated he's not going back to 168, why do GGG's people say they would fight at 168?
