The funny thing is if Canelo was healthy, HBO would have done Canelo vs. a bum instead of Lomachenko-Walters, Salido-Miura, and hopefully Golovkin-Jacobs. Who in their right mind would want to see Canelo vs. Monroe over the 3 fights I mentioned? No wonder this sport is on life support.
Exactly why I'm not a fan of Peter Nelson. HBO caters too much for Canelo, Golovkin and Ward, all the while Top Rank [for the last year] was trying to propose Loma-Walters for a very reasonable asking price.

I love Salido, he's given us so many action fights over the years, but he's playing with fire and age will eventually catch up. Miura has crunching power, he might very will be the one to knock him out. But you never know with Salido he's proven everyone wrong for many years.

This is going to be a brutal war. Not sure how many back to back slugfests Salido can handle he just went 12 vicious rounds with vargas and next fight right back at it with hard hitting Miura. Fights like this literally take years off your career.

It seems like before every Salido fights, I find myself thinking, "Will this be the night when the wheels fall off?" Salido's career defies logic: 35 years old, 419 rounds of action, 20 year career, and he's a pressure fighter. I wonder how long he can continue to keep this up for. He might wind up having two FOTY candidates in a year.

Lomachenko couldn't beat the brakes off Salido but you think Miura will?
That was Lomachenko's 2nd fight brah, the experience in a pro fight going that long played a major role. Lomachenko wins the rematch now that he's got more time in the pro ring under his belt.
