I agree but tbf Selby would've been in a UK fight a couple of months back if Warrington hadn't ducked him.

Hearn has wanted to put in on uK cards but Al has other plans always

he can find him all the fights he wants but Haymon is the mgr and has to approve them or there is no fight. No one said that Hearn hadn't found him fights, hell he put on his last fight in April

Since no one knows anything about Al Haymon or his business dealings, no one can say for sure what is going on with Selby. Selby may have made more money in those two fights he has fought in 17 months under Haymon than the five fights he would have fought under Hearn's promotion. Selby signed with Haymon for a reason and I am sure it wasn't because he was so thrilled with Hearn's promotion of him.

Haymon isn't interested in lesser lights, that's all. Selby got a showcase chance, a smaller man in a main event, neutral ground. I won't say he stunk vs Motiel, but he looked bad enough to disinterest Al. Big stable, lots of waste.

Lee Selby and James Degale... Smh.
Such a shame for those guys.

Could have filled stadiums in the UK and been on PPV cards. Instead, they are both inactive fighting infront of 2000 in the likes of Texas and Washington DC on a Sunday.

              What a shame.

                Eddie Hearn = boxing fans
                Lee Selby = PBC fighters

Eddie is just salty that Al has done to him what he did to Warren, namely snatch up some of his real estate. It's funny how he doesn't bemoan the loss of momentum in his own fighters, like Callum Smith, who was once heralded as the next big thing but has been going stale fighting a succession of journeymen for the past 12 months and is now barely even discussed in the super middleweight argument.
