To be fair, i don't think anybody knows what's going on or if Fury will fight again. Frank is not even Fury's promoter or anything. He just owns the TV channel that was going to air the fight. I doubt even the Fury's know 100% if he will fight again or not right now.

I hope he does. The HW scene is better with him in the mix. If he does get stripped, maybe it's not a bad thing in terms of entertainment if Fury comes back. He will come back claiming he's the real champ as he was stripped and never lost etc. It might give him the motivation and drive to win them back. As it stands, he is the number 1 HW in the world, so it would be a shame if this is the end.

He's simply too lazy and can't motivate himself knowing he's going to be banned for cheating, plus he has to do PED testing for this fight which means if he's used illegal fat burning muscle building stamina increasing steroids again his only way out of delaying a test is a stunt like this, avoid fighting short term to prolong long term career. This is a logical explanation you will block out of some unbeknown loyalty to him known only to yourself.

Why would Fury want to hang on to the belts without defending them?

He jumped through the ropes and challenged Wilder... That was the single most exciting moment in the heavyweight division since Klitschko's boring ass was champion. You should be thankful that Fury could make headlines the world over.
