I wouldn't be surprised if Jacobs wins this.

I am curious as too what kind of neck exercises Rozier has Jacobs doing. You see FMJ and GGG training with the weight around their neck. This would be great preparation for Jacobs to strengthen his neck to take punches.

Balance is controlled in the inner ear, so genetics and bone structure play a significant part in the ability to take punches without being knocked down.

Not sure if neck exercises will improve ability to withstand punches.
Someone can also go up in weight to better absorb punches.

It may be an advantage, but at the end of the day the trainer isn't going to fight, he needs a fighter with the tools to get the job done. Jacobs has a punchers chance and that is all he's got. People getting too excited for this fight, Jacobs is a step up, but he's still a B-level champion who will probably get stretched within 5 rounds, honestly. If you properly study him as a fighter, he makes lots of mistakes, and those mistakes have been exposed by lesser fighters than GGG. He isn't what I would call a typical African American fighter, he isn't very slick, and isn't defensively responsible and that is why he isn't elite.

He has an ok but leaky defensive game, he has looked extremely uncomfortable when dealing with pressure, he uses his legs to get him out of harms way which will make you more tired in a long fight, and he has a questionable chin. If I could list a set of ingredients that GGG absolutely feasts on, it would be the above. He does have hand speed + power, and that gives him an explosive offensive game, that along with his athleticism may cause GGG problems early, and as I said he has a puncher chance in those early rounds.
