You a politician, I asked one simple question yet you found a way to work right around that question and not answer it, WHO WOULD CANELO MAKE A FIGHT WITH TO BRING IN THE SAME REVENUE AS GGG WOULD?, I personally think this fight would easily bring in 50 million plus, don't forget, they will sell the ppv all over the world, gate takings, merchandise, if GBP offered 10 million you can bet your hat that they hay projections of 100 million , that would equate to 10% for GGG, your a fool if you think GBP are offering that out of the kindness of their hearts, wake up and smell the rosesOutside of Cotto, there's not a current fighter 154-168 who would reject $10m to fight Alvarez, let alone $5m.
The simple fact that Golovkin seems to be eyeing something at least near $15m, drastically limits the kind of money that Alvarez can make on the matchup whenever it happens.
Because, let's be clear here; $15m to Golovkin and $15m to Alvarez would necessitate the event having to do nearly $70m in revenue to cover everything ($10m as the site fee, $60m on PPV), a projection that already tops the business that Cotto-Alvarez did.
The fight could literally do the numbers that ODLH-Mayweather did and Alvarez, after paying Golovkin a purse (after he's already rejected $10m), still wouldn't make $50m.

its a catchweight, he gave up the belt and offered ggg the fight, ggg team turned it down.Listen up ******...you cross that threshold from 154 to "155"...that is not a weight class in and of itself. You are now fighting as a middleweight. If you can't take the heat, gtfo of the kitchen. There is no 155 pound title. It's a middleweight title. Defend it or don't...but please stfu along the way.
GGG is coward he could have fought canelo but was too scared but he wasnt scared of facing Rosado lmfao.Comment

GGG Was happy to fight Rosado at a catchweight at 158

Gabriel Rosado says he never asked for a catchweight to face middleweight titlist Gennady Golovkin, and has officially rejected a maximum weight of 158 pounds to fight at the full 160-pound weight limit.
Now I ask You
WHY IS GGG OKAY FIGHTING ROSADO AT A CATCHWEIGHT BUT NOT CANELO?

CARSON, Calif. -- It seemed that WBA/IBO/WBC interim-middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28KOs) had his big fight, but the matchup with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fell by the wayside. However, the fight is not dead in the water. Speaking at the post-fight press conference Saturday after yet another GGG knockout, K2 managing director Tom Loeffler said the fight is still possible
But Wanted A Catchweight of 164 against Ward
source
Promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions, who handle IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30 KOs), says a fight can certainly be worked out with WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15 KOs). But the deal would have to be under Golovkin's terms and not dictated by Ward. Loeffler feels Golovkin has surpassed Ward as a ticket seller and in terms of name recognition - making GGG the A-side of the negotiations.

He wants to make as much money as possible before he sustains another "L" point blank period. That's not bad by itself but you can't go live and say "we Mexicans don't fcuk around"...and start fcuking around in a cowardly fashion. Truth is he is trying the mayweather formula under golden boy governance trying to age a fighter for a better shot at beating him. Mexican fighters don't roll like that homie...at least not until this one.

Which explains why he's still fighting, has chosen to take a fight that almost no one actually wanted to see, and Freddie is trying to slow-start the drumbeat for another chance at another Mayweather payday.
Arum is so use to the boxing media not checking him on anything that he can openly make a statement (to undermine the only other promoter who is basically competing with him for dollars on HBO), yet not expect that same statement to be spun back on him when the conversation changes.Comment
