All the fighters are workers who earn the company so much money yet get so little in return.
actually he earned much more than that. those are only the disclosed purses. after ppv he earned about 15 million according to reports. they should have overpaid him like pbc fighters because thats a viable model?

3 million was Conor's minimum and didn't include his cut of PPv which was about 15 million.. Ufc guys might not be getting floyd money, but they are getting that cotto, Canelo type money

Where did you get this info? Connor took home an estimated 10mil net purse........
he's just talking about the guarantees. ufc is smart in that they only guarantee the fighters a low number and if they do good ppvs numbers then they get more. makes sense. its logical unlike boxing where fighters are guaranteed huge sums and often dont even generate anywhere close to that amount and lose money for everyone involved. good model there. smart business.

Literally every post you've made in thread has been spot on.

Communism? lol. Your really reaching there. The fighters could definitely get paid more but not every fighter deserves a million like boxing would leave you to believe. That is exactly why it is struggling right now while the UFC is getting bigger and bigger. The fan know they are in for a night FULL of awesome fights. Whereas with boxing your lucky if the one fight you get with one meaningful fighter out of the whole two fights you get will be good.

You really want to encourage MMA fighters to be ****heads like Danny Garcia? Getting spoiled to beat on scrubs or washed up fighters for a million so he won't fight anybody with a pulse unless the money makes him blow a load.

Fighters cant duck in UFC. Thats the problem with some boxing. The people wanted Conor vs Eddie, the people got it. Meanwhile GGG vs Cameltoe is nothing but a bunch of pissing and moaning from both teams for like a year now.

EVerything is wrong with this philosophy. Boxers demands have watered down the sport and left fans at the bottom of the totem pole. Every other sport has a centralized body that dictates certain things. It's the only way to get an even playing field and somewhat clean competition.

pretty sure its just one team making excuses out their ass as to why the fight hasn't happened. prob the team that dropped the belt, drained themselves down a division, is fighting unknown bums, making silly flat offers for a huge fight instead of the standard percentage split, delaying the fight another year instead of doing it now.
