Personally I think Crawford or Lomachenko are the best fighters in the world.

Kovalev and Golovkin are mediocre inside fighters and not the quickest. Golovkin is more skilled but is aging.
Don't think Ward has the power or the durability to be a good LHW.
Gonzalez got buzzed recently by good, but not great fighters.
Rigo is one of the most overrated fighters in the world. Has 1 great win, no good wins (no top 20s) and gets knocked down every other fight.

I've got it with a crossover appeal..no order to list: WARD *GOLOVKIN ALVAREZ KOVALEV MANNY PAC *problem there admin wise.

I think the HVY.-Wt. is seperate world. MY LIST for the only seven names that matter (no order and NO ORTIZ TOO he is only a shadow. Equal rating with ANDY RUIZ & LUCAS BROWNE -&- "DUMB" the Browne/Ortiz "titles") [dem' guys are SERIOUS real estate OF COURSE!]
FURY JOSHUA WLAD. HAYE POVETKIN PARKER [boxing's No-1,roll model at h.] WILDER.
The boxer Loman yeah! He turns heads. Look what he did in first five fights. The loss too was monumental. BUT, 48lb wt class lossing interest. Anyone else too.
Ward may be the best today.

You need to stop smoking the Crack. There are a number of guys who have a better resume and better skills. Off the top of my head:

          Ward
          Crawford
          DSG
          Alvarez
          Kovalev
          Gonzales

All should be ranked ahead of the Triple Duck based on resume AND skillset...

Everyone except for Erisland Lara and Andre Ward. Both were DUCKED by Bumlovkin...

            So..
P4P rankings take a number of factors into account such as recent activity, standard of competition, in addition to skill etc
So taking out the other factors and just leaving it as to how good you think a fighter is, who would you say the number 1 fighter is?
So for example, many people wouldnt rank ward as p4p because of recent competition but can imagine theres a lot of people who think he is the best fighter in the sport. Same as a lot of people think golovkins CV isnt much good but they think he is the best fighter. Not looking for a ward v ggg debate (for once) but they are just two of the most obvious examples. Rigondeaux would be another one.
So, who do you think the best fighter is?
            good thread

just based on skill and what they can do in the ring

I'd have to say the best most complete fighters may be

Ward...he can do it all in the ring....spoil, box from the outside, pot shot, throw combos, make you miss, catch and shoot, counter, you name it....dude is like a boxing manual

            After Ward

guys like Crawford, Loma and Mikey Garcia deserve a mention, they are well rounded and well schooled on offense and defense.

Chocolatito, Golovkin, Alvarez, Lomachenko, Ward, Kovalev, Crawford are all tied.

Ward, perhaps so.. but Ward is two weight divisions above and already getting big at his second weight..... and you're trying to blame golovkin? The man is 34, quit crying just because a bunch of golovkin casuals are hyping him up. He's the real deal, whether you like it or not.
The "real deal"? Excuse me while I...

The best name on Bumlovkin's resume is a WELTERWEIGHT - and you G-string Divas think he's the "real deal"? LOL. You must be smoking some good ****. Stop being stingy and share with the rest of us...
