Its the style Golovkin has beaten his opposition in,as in there is nobody other than maybe Jacobs who stands out at Middleweight anyway.Let's not pretend Trout was ever a an elite fighter, and lets not pretend that he really beat Lara because he didnt.

Canelo could KO GGG in 1 and he still wont be the best. And vice versa

He is the biggest name in sport but not the best

Same could be said of GGG. Only difference.... substitute names Wade, Rubio, Monroe etc etc.

I wouldn't compare Canelo and Golovkin by whom they "beat." Canelo has the judges in his pocket. But he doesn't "beat" people. Golovkin BEATS people. No judges are even necessary. They can look at their devices during the fight or use the restroom. No need to pay attention to what's happening in the ring.

Canelo was also outclassed by Floyd; no GREAT fighter ever gets totally outclassed on his way up. Good fighters do. I don't think Canelo won a single round, in reality. Though of course one of the paid judges gave it 114-114.

It would be an interesting research project... to see if we as a nation have become more productive or less productive with the advent of all the social media we can tap into. My guess would be less productive, since many people tie up a lot of their time with it now.

Yep. Here we are right in the midst of the Info Age, yet with a huge contingent of willful ignorance in the way.

canelo has at least fought A level fighters, may, cotto, lara according to some of you. name 1 A level fighter GGG has fought? you cant therefore he isnt the best. WIlder has a better resume then GGG.
Lol, the same Canelo who fought and got rocked by Jose Cotto?
The same Canelo who couldn't beat Jorge Juarez?
The same guy who barely beat Austin Trout lol, Trout is like a worse version of fxcking Willie Munroe Jr yet you think for one second that little Canelo would go undefeated

Not what people will say, people won't talk about your precious Andre Ward they will talk about the biggest names in the sport the winner of Canelo Vs GGG will be recognized as the best fighter in boxing by anyone who knows anything about boxing.
Infact I doubt they'd even mention Ward at all the majority of boxing fans don't know who he is.

Most people will tell you Golovkin is number one it's funny how you seem to have a problem with this idea of how we should rate fighters yet you never seem to be upset about the other divisions that don't get credit namely the cruiserweight division remember its your media outlets and boxing channels not doing their job that makes this an issue.

A division only matters when you have a good American in it.
