Comments Thread For: Oleksandr Usyk To Make Return on Golovkin's Card, Dec. 10?

Usyk vs Wlodarczyk, Masternak, or even Cunningham would be a great co-feature. Are they considering Salido/Miura on the Golovkin/Jacobs card too?

Watch them in the same card would be awesome, it would be a dream if Lomachenko fights there too, but that's too much.

Lomo's fighting Nov 29th on his own card. Have to settle for Derevyanchenko and maybe Khytrov on this one.

Never mind, yesterday they were saying it was being lined up for December and there's no other fights on the HBO side in December except the GGG/Jacobs fight. Now I'm seeing a Dec. 17th date? Either way I think they could afford to buy that fight and make it the co-main and Usyk's fight the 3rd fight of the night.

                Aren't they fighting for Haymon?

I respect Usyk for saying no to America and deciding to stay in Ukraine / Europe but he can quickly turn into a huge star in the US or in the UK if he chooses to. Look at what happened to Chocolatito. He fights as Golovkin's co-feature for 2 or 3 fights and now he heads his own cards for HBO which is never heard of for the smallish divisions.
Also Usyk is an entertaining fighter. He's like the cruiser weight version of Lomachenko, spectacular to watch. And he has this bigger than life personality that will definitely appeal to fans. I hope this happens because this guy is the goods.
