That was hinged on the WBC's Sept. 13th deadline, but as long as DeGale/Jack reached agreement the mando got trumped.

Either way, Smith gets next. Maybe Hearn favored Smith's chances over Jack than DeGale, idk. I honestly don't see the hype in Smith. This is DeGale's last fight under his current contract with Hearn, maybe Eddie wanted something closer to parity if DeGale/Smith fight and this way he gets cut out of DeGale's portion of the purse if they fight after Jack. But I'm thinking Chunky will re-up with Hearn.

At last! I hope it will be in the UK, probably not though.

Clueless decision by whoever is deciding upon that, you want the fight to generate more cash it clearly would make more in the UK plus If DeGale wins in his home return to the UK he'd likely be doing himself another big favour for hyping the fight with Callum Smith, DeGale reminds me of Ashley Theopane a successful version of him he fights abroad but DeGale doesn't need to.

Eddie Hearn has 2 cards in the works. A Nov 12 Warren-McDonnell card in Monte Carlo and a Nov 26 card featuring Anthony Joshua.
