For a heavy weight champ this is embarrassing. This circus act is becoming a joke. Vacate and let's move on from all this. Fury is an absolute disgrace to the division.
Well, Ali certainly had "a couple" of detractors when he first won the title.
Frazier had a few detractors was called an Uncle Tom and not the real champ.
Mike Tyson had a little bit of pressure and a mini witch hunt. Larry Holmes had to follow The Greatest, which might have been frustrating at times. Seriously if Fury can't handle the pressure then he's not mentally tough enough to hold on to a belt. By the way when he fights he makes boxing look sloppy and boring, his personality is annoying and he has a irritating demeanor, therefore people want to tune him out. Fury singing horribly on the sound system after winning the title pretty much sums up his career and his appeal.

I like Fury a lot but as i said in another thread, he brought a lot of the media backlash on himself.
I respect he speaks his opinion but he must be smart enough to realise he's going to be crucified in the press for them. If you're going to say the things he does, you need to be able to deal with the backlash.
He alienated a lot of important people by coming out anti pc like he did.You gotta have a thick skin if you gonna upset the in crowd because they will come at you through the media. Some things he had a point about ,some were silly ,but he thought being heavyweight champion meant he had free speech and that was a mistake. He's outspoken but has a victim mentality..bad combination.
Depression is no joke. If this is genuine, and I can only assume it is, then I hope he makes a full recovery in time & with the right treatment & support.
The whole not being accepted thing - I've heard from him (and his dad) several times that he believes it's because of who he is (i.e. his background as a traveller). However, it's very clear to me that it's because of some of the stuff he comes out with about other people, we all know the comments by now. It's difficult to feel any sympathy for people who complain of suffering bigotry who make bigoted comments themselves.
Leave the social commentary to people who are a bit more open minded and stick to what you do best Tyson, boxing. You did brilliantly to dethrone Wladimir in Germany and there are some mega fights out there for you!
That's odd. He looked pretty happy at the Crolla fight. He was even wearing shades, at night.
But if this is serious, I would highly recommend he first gets diagnosed, then receives professional help. Right up until his death, my father was just as volatile as Tyson, and at the end, probably worse. Undiagnosed and untreated Bipolar is dangerous as all hell.
I may not like Tyson Fury on any level, but he's still a human being, and for his and his family's sake, I genuinely hope he's just as ass, not Bipolar.
