He has been talking to much shit and said vile things, 'tongue-in-cheek' or not. Not going to make a list for you, I'm sure you'll be aware of some of them. He was also extremely disrespectful towards Vlad when he didn't need to be. All just words yes, but they come back to bite you and he shouldn't be moaning when there's verbal backlash or cry that he doesn't get 'respect' for beating Vlad. Does he want respect when he doesn't respect anybody in return? Doesn't work that way. If he was smart he'd know he'd get crucified in the press and elsewhere for this type of rhetoric and now he's just realizing this. If he can't handle that and has to pull out of the fight as a result, well, too bad. On top of that there's the PED thing but maybe that's just a witch hunt too in your view. In this case, we can just make everything into a conspiracy.
I actually liked Fury in the beginning too (when he was coming up, he was a breath of fresh air) but it is clear by now he's just running away from the Vlad rematch because he is not ready mentally and physically. In this case, he should vacate the titles instead of holding them hostage. Pretty simple.
