Always prefer a guy giving props over making excuses. 'My toe doe' etc.

I wouldn't mind Crolla facing one of the other champions but Linares needs to fight Zlat now though rather than rematch this. Flanagan-Crolla probably still makes money in the UK.

LW was poor for a while but has come to life now. Gonna rewatch Easter-Commey later as that was such a good fight and both were impressive. Is Mikey Garcia injured or just waiting for the Schaefer card to be finalised?

... there is no "lineal" at lightweight...

Linares should rather fight Rances Barthelemy (the IBF belt holder)...

              Agreed entirely with this.

Also, I wanted to put Crolla's quote in context, he was asked if he was hurt in the 6th rounds and he said "he rocked my world".

Other than that, Crolla was pretty confident about his performance, admitted some mistake and gave lInares credit.

Tbh, if Crolla had stuck to his guns like he did in the middle rounds, he would have won but Linares, for the first time I've seen him, found a second wind.

I cant believe that in 40+ fights and three weights Linares finally went twelve rounds!!! is that the first for a lineal champ?! crazy.

                  Probably lol

What impressed me more was that by the end of round 8, he looked to be just throwing arm punches and the crowd was really getting behind Crolla.

2 Rounds later and he started looking like the fresher of the two. Terrific performance from both guys and imo, a career defining win by Linares.

Linares is always a great boxer to watch, very stylish. Absolutely no need for the rematch. Linares should go and do Zlatikanin now (which he will do comfortably). It does sound like Linares really wants the rematch, he was offering it before Crolla was even asking for it, which tells me that old Eddie H must be paying the big bucks. Linares can't be getting that kind of money anywhere else. Crolla's got an obvious option which would be good to see. I think Linares beats Flanagan reasonably comfortably and would pay him fractions of what he gets for Crolla so not sure that's a goer in the future.

                      Linares is sensational.

That was another excellent display, his skill set is just world class.
