My counter-argument is that there is no way for Floyd to know that Baldomir had gotten extremely lucky with timing and opposition to get where he was at in the 147 division.

1. How was Floyd supposed to know that Judah was going to start self-destructing in every big fight he was in from that point on? It really was the first time that he gave up halfway through a fight. This means that there really wasn't a way to tell that Baldomir was getting lucky as **** in that fight. Baldomir is not top-class, period. How Mayweather was supposed to know that, I'm not sure.

2. What would you all be saying if Floyd had fought Margarito, and whitewashed him instead of Baldomir? You would say Margarito is one-dimensional, and didn't beat anyone good to get a shot at Floyd.
