Comments Thread For: Klitschko Waits on Word From The Sanctioning Bodies on Fury
As recently reported on BoxingScene.com, the rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko for the world heavyweight title has been called off for a second time.
Yea, ya gotta strip him of the belts at this point. He's not fighting and who knows how long he's out. Even if they say "oh in 6 months" he could still pull the same stuff again and have had the titles out of contention for over a year and a half at that point. If he's as good as he thinks he is, he can come get them back from whomever.
It will be interesting to see what the bodies do. The WBA tourney has been a disaster so far. With 2 cancellations, 1 retirement & a failed drug test & one guy who hasn't fought in over 2 years who got his title shot via court battle. Ortiz dropped out of his fight with Ustinov & is rumoured to be out of the WBA rankings altogether. He was the #1 ranked guy. So what is left Klitschko/Ustinov on one side & Browne/Oquendo on the other. But if Fury gets stripped Wlad won't be eligible for both titles because he will either have to choose the WBA tourney or fight Andy Ruiz (If #1 Parker stays IBF route) for the vacant WBO title. Now Ruiz has promotional problems so who knows when he will fight? That leaves Haye as the next eligible WBO contender. Parker is #1 in WBO & he could end up fighting for vacant WBO title if he doesn't land Joshua. Either way it looks like Parker is the #1 guy in 2 organizations & will have a choice of Klitschko or Haye for the WBO. If he goes the IBF route then he has Joshua. Parker is in a great financial position. If Fury gets stripped or he vacates there will be chaos. The guys who stand to lose the most are Ortiz & Ruiz for dropping out of fights. The funniest thing about this is Haye could be fighting for a vacant title next if Wlad stays in WBA tourney & Parker goes the IBF route. Parker is in the best position of any HW at the moment.

Wlad can't sit around forever with this guy because he can't be assed to train. Dude needs to sue Fists of Fluff for wasting his time. This QC they have really seems to know how to work the system shame for Fluff he's been taking liberties too long now Klitschko wants to resume his career whilst this sack of shyt wants to resume binging.
