What If Floyd Fought GGG...

Answering the Post question, if Floyd was move up & beat GGG would he be great...HELL YEAH!!! But there is just (2) two problem here. Retiring undefeated doesn't necessarily mean being great. I mean, think for a moment If Micheal Spinks, who became the undisputed champion by defeating Dwight Muhammed Quawi unifying the Light Heavy WBA & WBC belts. He would've & could've retired right there undefeated. He dared to be great! He challenged the Heavywgt champion Larry Holmes, and till this day is the only Light Heavywgt champion to beat the real, lineal Heavywgt champion. Again he could've retired right there underfeated. Ohhh let's get back to the 2 problems
problem #1 - Floyd last campaign as a welterwgt=147 lbs, GGG campaignes as a middlewgt=160 lbs, ain't gonna happens unless he dares to be great. But by the same token, Floyd does not need to move up to fight him, just like GGG does not need to move up to fight DeGeale, Ward or Kovalev.
problem #2 - For as great as Floyd is, GGG is too big. Leonard was a big welter w/ great speed & power and a very durable chin. His size allowed him to grow into the wgt.Last edited by sugar ray lenrd; 09-23-2016, 01:43 PM.

This is like asking "What if Roman Gonzalez made Nicholas Walters quit?"
It would never possibly happen so why bother asking?

GGG would just walk Floyd down and light him up it would be easy work.
how does GGG have 10/10 in heart when he is highly untested?
I could see if you gave a proven guy like Tim Bradley or Porter high marks in the heart department
your heart is only tested during adversity...because of his opposition, GGG hasn't had his heart tested or his chin....the only legit top ten middleweight he faced that was a hard puncher Lemieux....Stevens never kayoed anyone worth a damn nor did Lemmie so how is his chin even that high if it hasn't been tested....Now danny Garcia...that's a 9/10 chin

The Mayweather jab would be working the whole fight, GGG would be trying to cut off the ring while getting frustrated by Floyd's potshotting. Then GGG would try to get him on the ropes and end him with a temple shot or a good solar plexus shot.
Mayweather doesn't have the chin, the power or the size to intimidate GGG. It's different from the Canelo fight because he was a counterpuncher who was waiting for Floyd but GGG would go forward.
And being honest even if the fight was at 154, GGG's jab could KO Floyd.
You have to give props to floyd's stamina and his gas tank because I've never seen him even close to gassing.
