Always a double standard. Now Floyd started at 130 and moved up to ww. He dominated WW division for a long time. But everyone saying if he didn't fight Pacquiao it's a dent in his legacy. Not to mention he also faced a couple 154 fighters. But GGG has been in the same division for 10 years. Swears he will beat anyone from 154 to 168. Yet hasn't even fought a top mw in his division? He's been cleaning out his division for 10 years yet because he dominated the comp it's somehow an acceptable body of work? Yet they would've trashed Roy Jones and Mayweather for never moving up.The favoritism and passes this guy gets is unbelievable. He will get props from me for beating Jacobs. All this talk about fighters scared of him is garbage. I knew the eubank fight wasn't going to happen because it put the canelo fight at risk of not happening. Really doubt the Jacobs fight happens. He wins and calls out Saunders. Another guy who hasn't beat anyone. No mention of his mandatory. Plenty of guys that would love a crack at ggg. He hasn't faced a real fighter. His best win is Lemuiex. Hard puncher but Lemuiex isn't much else. The jury is out imo.

Funny thing is that if GGG was American, would he be hated like he is by some detractors or would he be put on a pedestal just like the American fans have done with spence Jnr, I don't see this as a question of how good he is, I see this as an issue of where he was born, the truth is that these European country's fighters stay as amateurs and learn their trade substantially better than western country's, they have just started to break into pro boxing in the last 10/20 years with tszyu being the first, they are exciting fighters with impecible skills and fans should enjoy watching them and drop their patriotic garbage just because of where they were born

I don't care where they come from, I look at talent. Maybe some will only get behind Americans, but I doubt that's more than a minority. Like I said, the guy's talented... it's just the GGG-aholics who keep whining if anyone says anything besides ultra glowing praise for their hero. That's the problem.

You're delusional. Ggg signed the contract Eubank lost his pen. Jacobs said he was made an offer but

"I was like, ‘Wait a second. I could fight two Peter Quillins and make the same thing.’ "

Let me ask you a really easy question, do you think floyd COULD have stayed at 130 for his entire career, yes or no

Beats me. In general, Pac's PPV #s were great, so were Floydie's. Your point is zero.

What the hell difference does this make? You have no reasonable response to my post and you know it. The facts are that like Mayweather said every legend took on a challenge and moved up. I'm not one that believes a fighter has to move up to be a legend. It depends on the fighter and the situation. The fact remains that every legend of this Era moved up and fought someone bigger than them. Even Roman Gonzalez. But GGG stays at 160 for ten years and everyone is scared of him? Another great white hope. I'm willing to bet he runs from his mandatory with Jacobs and fights Saunders.
