It's funny, if GGG wasn't any good then he wouldn't be mentioned, he is dominating probably 60% of the threads on here and obviously those who are hating on him are doing so because they see him as a threat to a fighter from their country or one of their favourites, funny though, I can't remember a fighter being treated like this apart from floyd or pacquaio, seems like all of this hate is going to make him the next superstar of the sport

He is the most talented and exciting fighter on the planet, and presents a humble and charismatic image, he is being ducked by countless fighters which also generates many discussions, and he is in a feud with the biggest Mexican star in the sport because he's ducking GGG too. It's natural most questions would be about him. You're right about the reason for the haters though. They are fans of these duckers and they don't want to see their favorite fighter get knocked out.

This is why I say GGG is the most over-hyped fighter in recent history. I love watching him fight and my favorite active fighter along with Rigo and Loma [active not really applicable to Rigo] but.... Golovkin has had a very average 2016 - just Wade and Brook - but the hype keeps increasing at a different rate than it ought to compared with results in the ring.

Who can argue that GGG is a bigger name at tail end of 2016 than tail end of 2015? Yet his 2016 resume is worse than his 2014 and 2015 resume. This is how boxing works.

And now you have Breadman saying that GGG goes toe to toe with Ray Leonard - wow wow wow! I see GGG getting KO'd in mid rounds by SRL. Imagine a Brook whose footwork is twice as sharp, whose angles are 50% better and whose punches have 50% more power and whose hand-speed is 50% faster - that was SRL.

Still, I don't care about the hype. Just want to see Golovkin in the best fights possible.

I'm sure there's some GGG hate going on, but the real thing is just the truth seekers calling out the GGG fanboys for being so protective of their hero. Yes, GGG is a force in the division. Yes, extremely talented. But he can and will lose eventually, and he does have faults. I wouldn't be so quick to label someone a GGG hater just because they aren't madly in love with him like the hardcore GGG fans are.

No one would be protective if not for the absurd shade thrown at GGG for things out of his control. There is more to making fights than saying I'll fight him on Twitter. That's why boxing reporters don't take Lara serious.

GGG has tried to fight every top fighter in his division and has 6 top tens in four years. He's said he'd go down 6 pounds for Floyd, 4 more than Canelo did for Floyd.

Guys on one hand say he hasn't fought anyone at 160, but then demand he fight a LHW p4p fighter, as his first so called major test. When it's known k2 wanted the Ward fight when no one else would fight GGG, but Ward waits until 2015, after GGG signs to fight Lemiuex, has Lee on deck, and is mandatory to the Cotto/Canelo winner. Because GGG chose to stay the course he's one title away from fully unifying. And the Ward fight hadn't gone anywhere. It will ge bigger if Ward gets past Kov.

Ward didn't move up to fight Dawson, he made him come to him. But BS GGG haters are fine with that. Ward calls out the much smaller Floyd, they're fine with that.

Ward stated on the social networks – "Lil Floyd says he spars middleweights. He is the only man I will sacrifice coming to 160 for. He won't take that bait!!!"

And act as if Brook was too small.

Ward leaves for years and expects GGG to drop everything they're finally poised to get because he wants an 18 month build up to fight a small MW.

People pretend that GGG isn't ducked, knowing damn well since 2012 every top fighter at 160 has done just that--including the face of boxing.

They bring up lara all the time, but deny two important details:

                  1. the money Lara is wanting and the money available in any given GGG fight

                  2. That Sanchez has literally challenged Lara to come with a package that make sense.

When Sanchez publicaly, I count three times now, challenges Lara to make the call, come with a enticing deal, and if they have nothing on deck see what happens. Sanchez points out when they want someone they make an offer. But Lara doesn't even call. So why people keep acting as if he's serious is beyond me.

So how is GGG protected when he's literally trying to land top fighters. It'd be ne thing if k2 specifically only chose soft touches when, LIKE CANELO, they could generate enough money to fight anyone.

The hate towards GGG on here is absurd.

Fried, truncate can be YOUR friend. I'm not even going to read your long winded reply. I can summarize in no time... Too much talk. That's what the GGG fanboys (you and others) are all about. You actually turn off potential GGG fans with your endless blabbering as if he's the Messiah himself, sent from heaven above. I like GGG and his talent. What I and the rest of us you call GGG haters are about is... we're sick of your endless on and on. Sorry friend... them's the facts.
