in this situation it can save alot of time if the b-side lets the a-side know what kind of money they are wanting. That way, if its some ****** number, the a-side can just request that it goes to bid immediately rather than waste 30 days with little hope of reaching a deal.
And of course the reverse is true as well. If K2 sent an offer over of say $300k or something equally ridiculous, then Jacobs side could request it go straight to bid.
Hopefully they work it out. And if not, then send it to bid and lets see what happens......
