If you ask anyone in Europe or Asia about Canelo, nobody knows him. GGG is pretty much well known to everyone who is a casual fighting fan.

You can just check google trends for popularity, GGG is way ahead of Canelo worldwide, just Mexico and southern parts of the US are Canelo territory.

I don't think there is a superstar household name in boxing that even your gran knows, like Tyson, Ali etc.
I know someone who doesn't know GGG or Canelo but knows who Fury is.
