I dnt see this. Pirogs entire style is different from ggg. From the way his offensive is, to bending at the waste and got movement. His style was so awkward, that even in koing jacobs he took some good shots. I like a potential ggg vs jacobs fight. The way ggg looked vs brook, itd be fun to see him take and give shots against danny

As soon as golovkin signs up to fight someone they become a bum, and the fighters who he didn't fight, he is scared of and ducking. I rate Jacobs and it's a good fight but will he get any credit for beating him, no chance. People will say ' well pirog knocked him out first, big deal' and 'who has Jacobs beat'. Same way mayweather never got credit for his wins, that's what happens when you are the best.

Look at Pacquiao vs De La Hoya. Many said it was too big of a challenge and Pacquiao would get destroyed. Not exactly the case at all once we saw what happened.

Look at Maidana vs Mayweather. Was supposed to be an open and shut case that Mayweather would thoroughly outclass him. Yet it turned into one of Mayweathers most difficult fights.

I could see Jacobs catching him early and being called the Cinderella Man. I could also see GGG catching him early. I consider it a big challenge.

One thing I do know for sure is if GGG wins within 24hrs there will be a thread "Wow, GGG's best win is a cancer survivor. Pathetic." I'll put money on that.
...and if GGG gets his ass whipped they'll say "Wow! Golovkin got old overnight" I'll put money on that.

Indeed he is.. Golovkin cannot walk through Jacobs like he has in the past with a few guys.. Saunders imo is better than Danny but Danny can box & punch unlike Saunders who doesn't carry enough power..

i agree with you, i don't think jacobs is more of threat to GGG than lemieux was, both have power and a puncher's chance, that's about it.

i laugh at how they say that GGG should move up because MW division is dead but at the same time you have guys saying "they are gonna duck the purse bid and drop the belt" (they didn't even start to negotiate) and that jacobs is gonna KO him, if jacobs is that much of threat shouldn't GGG stay at 160 to fight him? lol

                This, so no.

Jacobs would beat the shi*t outta' Saunders.

I think Jacobs is the second best MW in the world. I don't think he will be much of a challenge for GGG but surely look forward to what I feel would be an entertaining fight for as long as it lasts. Jacobs is no bum, the man has skills, I just think Golovkin is on a different level.

                      Sure.

But guess what, this fight should have happened a year or more ago. We'll have to wait through ridiculous negotiations before the fight has a chance of being made. Then we have a 50% chance either fighter pulls out.

Folk, that's what boxing has become.
