Even if Canelo was to stay at 154, it may not be a fight he'd jump at. What with having a possible massive fight with GGG on the 'horizon'.
I'm not sure GB would want to risk jeopardizing things in a high risk/low reward kind of fight.
I like Andrade and rate him highly. However i would pick Canelo to win that fight.
Canelo can't make that weight anymore. If he has a tough fight with someone who pushes the pace, he'll be gassed by the 6th. When you have to get naked to make weight...your time is up in that division. Ask erik morales.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is the new WBO junior middleweight champion after beating Liam Smith last Saturday night, but he’s now got a BIG problem staring him in the face with Demeitrus Andrade as his new WBO mandatory challenger at 154. Canelo is in a bind. If he stays at 154 to defend his WBO title, he’ll need to fight the 6’1” southpaw Andrade (23-0, 16 KOs) in his first defense, and that could prove to be a more difficult fight than any previous match in the 26-year-old Canelo’s career.
you dont want any more canelo fights at 154, that will delay the ggg fight from next year, canelo needs to fight MW fighters(1 or 2) in order to prepare for GGG... so maybe january-february at 157-158 and may at 160...
if you really want the ggg fight you shouldnt be asking for this, instead go into gggs twitter and ask him to accept canelos offer....
Canelo will avoid him too. They will come with some excuse that they will not be forced to fight any one or vacate due to injury (which a boxer with his stature no sanctioning body would make them vacate)
