Tom I reckon everyone should start with a pass, and then earn one every 5 correct picks. The reason I say that is there are not many big fights coming up soon, and the most of the close ones are lesser-known fighters. Your boy Eggington is fighting Frankie Gavin soon for example. I doubt many Americans/non-Brits will have much to go on for that fight.

Yeah its gonna be tricky at the moment because US boxing is gone to ****.

But I think we will just have to treat it as a slow burner.

I dont want to put fights like Gavin vs Eggington because UK users have a massive unfair advantage. And even if we give everyone a pass card, we are basically saying the yanks will have to use their card on that fight whereas we can save it for later.

Every now and again we will get a run of good fights and that will separate the wheat from the chaff. Its gonna be surprisingly difficult to keep getting the correct result in close fights. I dont expect the game will last that long depending on how spaced out the fights are. For example it looks like we are losing half the players on the opening weekend if the voting stays like it is

Ive been seeing a lot of prediction threads around and thought we could make a game out of it.

Ok so heres the premise.

Only closely matched world level fights will be used. No mismatches.

You keep predicting the results until you lose, and then you are out. No need for method of victory, but feel free to have a go for pride.

After 5 correct predictions you can have a 'Pass' card to use for a fight of your choosing.

Just some fun. Im sure we can organise a points prize (I'm happy to donate but dont have much compared to some you hoarding motha****ers) or a karma whip round from everyone competing to the winner.
