  • Comments Thread For: Ward: Kovalev Has More Dimensions, A Better Fighter Than Golovkin

Light heavyweight contender Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs) won't deny it, before leaving the super middleweight division he was really hoping to get the opportunity to fight WBA/IBO/IBF/WBC middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs).

Yes, Ward dear: after Kovalev badly beats you, you will call out GGG at 175 for your last money fight... Yes, we know that...

no, what we do know is everyone on here will be crying and call ward a runner and a hugger once he schools the crusher. then if he calls out GGG for 168 everyone will say "fight someone your own size"

      thats what will happen. ROFL.

I remember GGG using some defense, using a slight shoulder roll, n fighting a little like mayweather for a bit and everyone loved it, called it BOXING SKILLS...

Ward continues to talk about GGG to sell his own fight. Why doesn't this guy say a comment like Kovalev is a better fighter then Smith, Barrera or Brand the actual guys he fought in the last year? I know why because people would ask him who the hell are those guys? Ward is pathetic walking around name dropping another fighter only to promote his own show...and then complaining to anyone who will listen that he should be a bigger star and receive more accolades from fans and media. Looking forward to seein this has been lying face down and having a nap in the centre of the ring Nov. 19!

That's why I don't think GGG will move up to 168. Too close to 175. If Ward beats Kov. And GGG beats 168 lbers there is pretty much no one left but each other at a CW.

??? I don't think I've ever seen Ward beat up. He hasn't lost a single match since 1998 so good luck with that!!!

Ward still yapping? What a surprise.

Oh, and it doesn't help that virtually all boxing experts disagree with this. Kovalev is crafty, but Golovkin is much more skillful.
