He does that much better the Kovalev as we've seen in the Chilemba fight.
Look at the amateur Career, who he faced and conquered as an amateur, almost won everything.
It's my gut feeling he really let's himself get hit to look weak to get the fights,
I think after GGG vs Jacobs is done we will see the same as with the lemieux fight,a very good defense and i think he will not get hit alott in that fight.
And GGG is definitly not my favorite fighter by a long shot, thats Lomachenko.
So i dont really care if he's better or not but my gut says he is
GGG hasn't had to cut off the ring on an A level fighter so its difficult to acess his efficiency

The only fighter I can think of that he fought that was pretty mobile is Willie Monroe, when GGG did cut off the ring he was getting touched up inside

GGG hasn't had to deal with a fighter with the speed, mobility, deceptive power and jab of chilemba.

bro...amatuers mean nothing considering many great amatuers don't make it to the top as pros and guys who hold amateur wins over certain fighters got destroyed by the same guy in pros.

now that Loma....he is going places....my trainer is really high on him....I see why

This is entirely different in that GGG - Canelo has a good chance of happening. Canelo was MW champ so GGG called him out; Canelo has talked about him, invited him up to the ring etc... Ward on the other hand is a LHW and a fight between the two has zero chance of happening in the near future. What's the purpose of talking about GGG? Last year Ward said: "I'm not interested in talking about the guy, I wish him nothing but the best"; now that he has a fight coming up he can't keep his name out of his mouth.

When GGG talked about Mayweather he also said he would go down to 154. Is Ward coming down from 175? Once it was apparent Mayweather wasn't interested they stopped talking about him.

The most talked about Ward articles revolve around GGG. Sad!
      You summed it up perfectly

Yeah Amateur and pro's are different, however im kinda using Lomachenko as a reference point here sorry about that haha,
I feel during those 300 and something fights he will have come across fighters that are A-level material,he did beat some good names that are good pro's now while in the amatuers but time will tell,we will see i'm just as curious as you but my gut feeling is going towards GGG.

I can believe that you're trainer is high on him
Hard not to be if you see him fight and move, its beautiful too watch

People will foolishly argue this because they've programmed themselves to but if Kovalev was set to fight GGG, you'd see the 3G bandwagon all but abandoned because everyone knows who the better fighter is. It's silly that we have to even have these conversations.

I agree, it's crazy how people have tunnel vision and see and hear only what they want to.

that would be nice......I wish Nicolas Walters made an appearance and got fights with Loma, Salido, Martinez, Sosa or Corrales

its sad he lost all momentum

This is super dumb. Kovalev has 20lbs fight night on Ggg. Lemme guess, Wlad, Wilder and Joshua are better fighters than Ward or Kovalev, right?
