Comments Thread For: Mayweather: I Had a Great Career, I'm Just Focused on Promoting

According to retired former pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs), he is fully focused on his promotional company, Mayweather Promotions - and not even considering the possibility of a ring return.

If he makes it through 2017 without fighting then I'll believe he's 100% done.

      Yup, smart guy.

You can't con the public twice with that lame excuse for boxing ***** for the millions who have witness your pussification in the ring against Pac.

Everyone knows you can't use the same con twice. That's a code among thieves. A 2nd time would be tempting fate if your IV gate PED scandal won't be noticed a 2nd time around.

You got away with a 200 million of unworthy prize money in the biggest Sports heist in the history of all sports, to the millions around the world who witnessed how you fought in the biggest fight of your life as you fought like a vagina who literally ran and hugged like a headless duck for 12 rounds.

Stay hidden. You already got away with undeserved wealth in the biggest day light robbery in sports when you literally hugged and ran to the bank.

I honestly think he is done. What else is there left to prove? He has enough money to support his great great great grand kids. So why fight on, because we the fans want him too??? Its a young man's sport, and no matter the success he and Hopkins had at an older age, the sport is still dominated by younger fighters. He 's won all the titles, he's fought all the guys we wanted him in the ring with (although not necessarily when we wanted to see it.) Let this new generation fight each other and build their own legacy, instead of calling out Floyd and Manny.

Besides your father thinks after the Pacquiao fight you don't have it anymore.

Worst thing a father experience is seeing his child fight ***** for the world to see.

Here's a clip showing father knows best that his son doesn't have it anymore. A disappointed father showing his disgust about is sons ***** performance against Pac:

          Floyd Mayweather Sr. :

@ 1:50 mark Floyd senior said about floyd's time to retire: 'When you can't do what you use to do it's time.' referring to his son

He knew his son dont have it anymore lmao.. He saw his son fight like a vagina

Floyd senior saying to his son his losing. You are losing son!

@ around 2:05 - You are losing son!

@ 2:20 Floyd jr to Floyd Snr.: no matter what I love you.. (ready to lose)

When floyd's own father and trainer saw his son fight scared. You know something is up.

According to Mayweather he, 'loved to entertain, give the people what they wanted to see"

            Seriously?

Great hope he stays true to his words, really don't like to see older fighter coming back and trying to reclaim past glory. The great thing is he has something else in his life now which is promoting. If he didnt have anything then he would get the itch to make another come back.

"I did such a great job of cherry picking, I can't let that gift go to waste"

Reality is though that now Haymon is out of money Floyd isn't doing anything. No more PBC cash left for Badou Jack vs DeGale, why doesn't Floyd be a promoter and stage the fight, risk his own money, do all the hard work that a promoter is supposed to do? He spent a career lying to his fans that he would go for a KO or at least entertain them but instead always played safety first. Made great money from that. Why not put a tiny bit of that cash back into the sport and actually make some fights for your guys instead of every single one of them sitting on the shelf for so long?

When he says in the article "I just want to help young fighters achieve their dreams" what he means is they may as well sleep in all day as he has jack shit lined up for them anytime soon.

I wasn't one of those people that were entertained! Doing enough to win on points is not entertainment. Some of the most hyped up, boring fights I'd ever seen. Great to see u retire!

What a dumb post. First off you shouldnt be worried about how much money another man has. Haymon been out of money for the last 2 years according to you racist haters. Floyd has 26kos in 49 fights you couldnt ko not one fighter he faced so sthu you internet thug."actually make some fights for your guys" Are you ******ed? or have you just started watching boxing? Degale/Jack isnt happening because Hearn doesnt want it. Im pretty sure Floyd pays for his fighters purses and he pays for events he promotes, not sure how much Haymon is involved there, but hey continue to spread lies because of your jealousy.
