Last reported in previous fights you can't even get directTV/Satelite PPV buys till Wed after a PPV. And you don't get cable PPV buys till over a week. So how you get this info on Tues before everyone else including boxing insiders.
First satellite numbers come in Tuesday
Cable estimate is available Wednesday.
First cable numbers come in Friday-ish.

People wait till at least those figures come in before they extrapolate and make guesses and estimates off those. Satelite numbers come in Wed or Thur after a fight. Cable numbers come in like 10 days after a fight. Then you have the fact that Golden Boy sold PPVs themselves via live stream similar to what UFC has been doing for cord cutters who don't have a cable/satelite provider. So even if you have a source in the satelite or cable industry you can't know all the PPV buys unless you work for Golden Boy. Hell even HBO won't know the final numbers because HBO doesn't get a cut from Golden Boy live stream that's why their broadcast featuring Larry Merchant and a different announcing team then HBO. Golden Boy pockets all the money from live stream sales and doesn't have to share any figures or money with cable/satelite/HBO.
TS is trolling there is no way he knows if this sold 180k or 2m PPV buys this early. Not even the guys who are paid to know have released figures.
FYI, no one - not UFC, not WWE, not boxing, NO ONE - has ever done more than 10,000 buys online/digital. That includes UFC PPVs with buys in excess of 500,000.
So digital buys are not going to be a major factor for this mediocre PPV either.

If true then they can't bash GGG any longer for doing 150k buys
That card wasn't even worth the $20ish I pay for HBO tbh.

That 62K #, is it from this tweet? This account sounds fake to me based on their tweets.
INSIDE SOURCES reveal, Canelo-Smith barely broke 62K PPV buys. Oscar trying to inflate the numbers until the official report is released.
