Did I read that right? 2M? That's some bull****. Where are the NSB accountants? How much would Canelo be making compared to the 2M for Golovkin?

And they still on that September bs? Yawn
The offer is supposedly 8 figures, so that's at least 10M, which is something new to us as of maybe a few days ago. The PPV upside I believe was just mentioned in this article. I'm sure the PPV won't be equally split, so 10M plus maybe 5M - 7M in PPV and you have at least 15M, maybe a little more. If that is the case, he needs to take it now and if he wins a close fight, there can be a rematch. The money will be a lot closer for the rematch, but GGG may still make less than Canelo, but he'll definitely make more than 15M.

I don't understand what Canelos team is trying to accomplish? They want to sign a deal but Canelo still needs two fights at 160. They wasted GGG time before and he went to 154.

am I getting this right, they want negotiate terms now, for a fight in Sept 2017?

They want to tie him down now before a potential fight with Jacobs and BJS.

if true, who in their right mind would agree to that.

They're buying time. Which is exactly what you or I would do in their situation.

Golovkin appears to be losing his sharpness, fight by fight. He's getting older. Let him decline while you (Canelo) get stronger and gain more experience.

In a few years, nobody will remember that Canelo delayed fighting Golovkin if he actually beats the guy. If the fight happened tomorrow afternoon, I'd definitely put my money on Golovkin. But in another year? Or 18 months? Or longer? I might pick Canelo. Golovkin is eating hard shots in "crazy street fights." Not a good plan. Because the damage WILL add up.

Eight figures is what Dela Hoya says. But of course do we believe everything he says?

tom didnt deny it...SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE ALL BUYING TIME TO EARN THE FIGHT MORE MONEY...

in the mean time canelo gets to duck all the 154lbers still..and ggg fights the b level crop that 160 has to offer, but still gets hit cleanly enough to make ppl think canelo might just be the one...

AND ULTIMATELY THE FIGHT ONLY DOES 800K PPV BUYS

You have to forgive Sanchez, GGG, and GTards. They've never seen that much or even been close.
