The problem is when fans support ducking fighters, or base their support on fighters off bull**** like this. Yall hated Canelo before but now he's "the greatest counterpuncher ever" just because he said something nice about Mayweather? That's predictable laughable bull**** and you know it.
Indeed all cases we don't know if it's "ducking" or not. We thought BJS was ducking him until we found discrepancies in the money area with Loeffler claiming "life changing money" where BJS said it was 1.5 million"

Recently K2 Promotions - on behalf of WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) - made an offer to face WBO belt-holder Billy Joe Saunders (23-0, 12KOs) in a unification on April 23rd. The offer was said to be a deal in excess of $3 million

Tom Loeffler is currently waiting for an official response from WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders’ management for an offer they made to Saunders for a fight that they would like to take place in April.

The rumor is that Saunders was offered $4 million for the fight

So there's 2 different articles saying the offer wasn't what it was, Loeffler caught in another lie. Thus, we cannot assume ALL fighters are ducking this guy when they are not getting offered what is claimed. It's easy for one to lowball a fighter, and then when the offer was declined, say it's because they are ducking the fight.

I don't know who "ya'll" is, but I never claimed to like Canelo...I said he had the better resume, and he does. I didn't claim the counterpuncher comment either, though he's gotten much better in his counterpunching ability and overall ring iq.

Floyd is backing Canelo for the simple fact that from a business perspective, canelo is THE draw, not golovkin...the numbers don't lie. Canelo just fought in front of 50k fans, golovkin had to go to England to an all Brook pro crowd. Don't mistake the o2 arena sales to be because of golovkin, had it been Canelo, it would've been at a full Wembley stadium instead.

No one gives a **** about a no name kasikstan bum beater who's taken no risks to prove his elite status and why the **** all of sudden his loser fans seem to think that he's the A side in every fight is beyond laughable. He AVOIDED a fight with Ward, he AVOIDS having to go up in weight, he AVOIDS to acknowledge Lara all ingredients for a fight with him, without realizing that fighting and beating Lara would be a common opponent and thus generate more interest in a fight with Canelo.

Why would a guy who supposedly is such a great p4p fighter that supposedly beats up much bigger guys in sparring avoid moving up and taking more risky fights? Do they not realize that's the way he can make more money? Prove to be an elite status fighter, as well as prove he's not a hype job because beating Martin Murray and WW kell brook doesn't mean ****.

It is a funny situation because Canelo is actually a middleweight. He comes to the ring at 175+. Triple G could move up to 168 now but he obviously likes the idea of fighting smaller MW fighters or guys who aren't scared to move up to MW to fight him. He gets more KO's that way. I think just in this situation that Canelo should move up to 160 to fight him because he will be alot stronger at MW. He will not have to cut so much to make 154. He boxes a lot better than Triple G.

FYI Virgil Hunter says Ward was a "scaled down light heavyweight" at 168 and naturally walks around 30 pounds heavier than GGG. Ward says he can't make 168 and struggles to make 175. He and Kovalev are the same size so you should be happy they're fighting, unless you don't think Ward can beat guys his own size?

We already know you think GGG is good enough to beat everyone his own size, which is why you keep wishing he would fight someone 30 pounds bigger, but now it seems like you don't think Ward is also good enough to beat guys his own size?

Hm maybe this is a tacit admission that you believe GGG is better than Ward?
That was before he went to lhw you ignorant ****. It says ACCORDING TO LOEFFLER, as in HE said it, not some made up quotes.

Now, to show the ****in liar Sanchez is here's what he said:

            Jan 2015

"Words have been spoken [back and forth]. Words have been said, but people have to remember that it takes a willing participant to negotiate for a fight. When they say we turned them down or asked him to come down to 164, well that's not true. That's not true. That's something that Dan Rafael wrote.. something about a 50-50 thing with the money and the weight and everything, and we never asked for 164. The fight has never been negotiated"

            July 2016

"That's something that would be a discussion amongst the team. And if we all came to the consensus that it was the right thing to do, at that point, then yes [we'd consider budging on the weight]. But right now, as it stands, he has to come to 164 if he wants to fight Gennady," Sanchez said.

Why don't they just say they know they will get their azzes kicked and aren't interested in the fight? Pretty pathetic for a guy who supposedly beats up all these HWs in sparring or whatever isn't it?

So now, we have golovkin still waiting around with his thumb up his azz waiting for Canelo, while Ward is preparing to fight the top lhw for his second division title.

Tell golovkin to rematch Wade, leave the real fights for the elites with balls. He could learn a lesson from brook actually.

Lol @ believing he's better than Ward, that's fine though, he can go up and fight the ward Kovalev winner...think he'll do that?

Yep Floyd is such a snake. He doesn't care about Canelo. He cares about his record and if GGG drills Canelo then Floyd looks worse for it. Plus Floyd must be going through attention withdrawals. Nobody was talking about him , now all of the sudden he is in every 5th thread on here. Shut up and stay retired , you coward.

Yeah because Mayweathers entire legacy was built off the defeat of Canelo, unlike ggg who went through the gauntlet of Wade, Rosado, Monroe and Macklin to reach the pennicle of the sport

Floyd is only supporting him ducking Golovkin because it makes the years of Floyd ducking fights look better. Floyd wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb in the coward department if he can persuade other fighters to follow his ways. Just sad really.
