I find it funny how people bash on canelo and saying how the fight with GGG will be a mismatch, if it's a mismatch and canelo can't hurt GGG according to you guys then why do you wanna see that fight? Wouldn't you want GGG to fight someone who will make it more entertaining? Canelo will still win against GGG because his ring generalship is better.

This has been Doug Fischer's line for a few months now. No one is allowed to criticize Canelo's avoidance of fighting Golovkin (in spite of his promises after knocking out a junior welterweight who had already been knocked out before) because they clearly just want to see Canelo get his faced pounded in.

Well, some of us actually think it would be a GREAT FIGHT. Very exciting, very competitive, very up for grabs.

I feel like we get lost in all the hype. I just wanna see a kickass fight between great fighters. Not late next year, but as soon as possible!

I think it would be a very good fight as well, I think it's a very even fight and it will be great fight for boxing fans. We will see if happens but people need to realize that it's pretty much up to canelo because GGG has no leverage here. Canelo deserves the criticism. He's changed his story numerous times about whether he's going to fight Golovkin, when, and why or why not.

If you say you want to fight now, but then you say you want to wait until your body is ready for middleweight, people are going to call BS.

If you drop a belt to avoid a fighter, you are going to get criticized. Period. Including by other professionals in the business. Including by your own countrymen.

i would say its cowardly to only fight guys you know you will beat or at worst guys that won't hurt you like floyd/lara. ggg will beat him up and hurt him so he doesn't want to fight him. if ggg had a slick lara style im sure he would have fougth him by now. he has so much trauma and fear of ggg before the fight has even happened. if it ever did happen at this point he would probably jump to the canvas like bruce seldon just to get it over wtih.

Right now Canelo is in Guadalajara sucking down on ice cold Tecates (cause that's who pays him), Estrella Jaliscos and Modelos.

Probably eaten about 50 plus tacos! By the end of next week he will weigh enough to fight Sergey Kovalev!
