Welp, no doubt this will delay the fight some more. Instead of September 2017, now the fight will happen in May 2018. Or maybe September 2018.

Buying time is exactly what I would do in GB/Canelo's situation. Buy time and watch Golovkin get hit in the face some more. More "crazy street fights" for Gennady, who isn't looking too bright, if you ask me.

I remember when Antonio Margarito had an iron chin.

Librado Andrade used to have an iron chin.

There is no such thing as an iron chin lil fella'.

Its unfortunate. Not that big a deal. He'll heal in a couple of months and be ready to fight by summer 2017. Shouldn't keep him out of a fight longer than what is typical for him. How many times does he fight/year anyway?

Why do these trainers talk so much about stuff that don't have a clue about? Canelo's trainer said that the hand injury will not keep him from fighting in December, but now we find out that it's a fracture and he's out for the year. Canelo's trainer also said that they'll never fight Monroe, but someone within Golden Boy with tad bit more power said that Monroe deserved the fight. Roach will pull that crap sometimes too with Pac. Even Mayweather Sr. would say some crap in the media and be totally off. Most of these trainers are not even part of the discussions when it comes to picking the next opponent, but they talk as if they are part of the negotiations.

I think Kell Brook should take an easy fight next at 154 , so he can stay busy til May fight with Canelo , don't go in there without staying busy...

EXACTLY. Lemieux to test if he has the chin to stand up to a real middleweight and also to see if he can hurt and KO him. After that, THE REAL TEST at 160. Let's hope he doesn't break his hands vs. Lemieux though. Maybe he could borrow some plastered gloves from Margarito? Bad joke, my bad!

Wow I was wondering where all the triple G fan girls where at there in full force here. For a bunch of diehard boxing experts that will boycot Canelo you sure are getting worked up over an injury really? Why the fugg would you want to see Canelo in a worse mismatch then his last fight?

I find it funny how people bash on canelo and saying how the fight with GGG will be a mismatch, if it's a mismatch and canelo can't hurt GGG according to you guys then why do you wanna see that fight? Wouldn't you want GGG to fight someone who will make it more entertaining? Canelo will still win against GGG because his ring generalship is better.
