Unless Golovkin is old by the time they fight, I think Golovkin will beat the sht outta Alvarez, just outbox him with his crazy accurate, deatroyer jab and have Canelo ready to go in the late rounds. In the beggining I think Alvarez puts up a hell of a fight and both guys will be damaged except Golovkin will stay strong and Alvarez fade.

      This here

Canelo won't bet on himself. Any fighter who truely thinks he would beat another fighter would just fight and beat that azz. You don't wait 5 years and let another man ice him first.

Waiting a fighter out is bitcchazz-ness

Always said it would be a closer fight than people say but like Beer said, ggg has superior stamina and will get to canelo late. Is canelo going to be able to fight at a ferocious pace for 12 rounds? He hasnt got the legs to move around like floyd and take a break

        Ggg will respect canelos power

Go watch the lemiux fight. He didnt come in like a freight train like he did with brook

Boxing fans have short term memory and look at things at face value too much. I take very little from the brook fight other than golovkin did look more tired as usual which could be down to an illness he had. The fact he got hit wouldnt worry me at all if i was a ggg fan.

But at the odds bookies have canelo at,its a good bet

Canelo will defeat GGG. It will be a good fight, but Canelo's skills will out perform GGG. It will rain punches on GGG ALL NIGHT!

I would not be surprised if Canelo gets him out of there due to a bloody mess or body shot

I love how you an have a gif of Canelo getting hit with 6 punches to give 1 and pretend he is slick.

I'm still going with GGG, I'm not falling for the hype like you just did Dan, he beat a WW and SWW, still hasn't beat a legit MW, yet he's the lineal champ.

Yea, I'm totally cool with people who disagree with me but I'm like a math teacher in that I expect to "see your work". Show me how you get to this conclusion, otherwise, you're just a big mouth. Didn't expect this opinion out of Dan but I respect it and it's nice to see people articulating a point.

I've always left that people are sleeping on Canelo in this one. I still favor GGG but IF Canelo can stay off the ropes, he has this fight in the bag. In center-ring, Canelo sets up his shots and traps much better and is a legit 1-punch fighter. When you have a 1-punch KO artist against a guy whose face is always available to be hit, the science is inevitable. BUT, Canelo must stay off the ropes for several rounds first, which I don't think he's quite ready to do, hence my favoring GGG. Just like Alvarez has advantages in center-ring, GGG would cripple him if Canelo tried to play around against the ropes like he did w/ Smith and Krikland.

OK. Canelo will beat GGG and yet chose to fight a no money nobody instead.

That makes a ton of sense.
