golovkins main problem is that he doesn't want to give into good offers or give into any sort of demands. he really seriously thinks he should be getting 20 million vs canelo. this is gonna kill his career.
When fighters like Martinez and Cotto blatantly ducked him or offered him 157 lb catchweight, it's just not a fair fight at that point.

And I think ANY fighter would consider being the B-side for a Mayweather fight. It's not like he had to humble himself by taking 5 million and another 5 from PPV.

Froch offered to fight GGG and then he retired then are we really forgetting Chavez Jr. and his inability to sign the deal with GGG because he kept walking away.

It's not fair to say he doesn't want the big challenging fights.

tom has a 10 mill 160 ppv upside deal. how in the **** does it get better then that for golovkin?

this is disgraceful. this man is 35 years of age. fought no one to be in the p4p list. this is why golovkin gets ****ted on. everyone says that it's racism but no. it's a ****ty team with no motivation to take on big fights or risks if not mayweather numbers. golovkin doesn't deserve ****. nothing. nadda. apart from the deal that he's gotten from golden boy. to be honest thats A deal thats over what he deserves and he turns it down?

Why would Golovkin sign an agreement a year an advance, when his popularity and name will obviously get larger in that time, so he will obviously be worth more by the time the fight comes around.

Anyone who thinks Canelo didn't avoid Golovkin is either an irrational fanboy or has an underdeveloped brain.

Honestly, GGG topics bring the worst out of people, even the usually good posters become completely ******ed when GGG is the topic.

Abel Sanchez is the one who runs the unit, and Loeffler has to make sense out of the circus act of a resume. HOWEVER, Loeffler can't get away with these things without the help of industry affiliates and the networks. They all know what's going on, and ultimately it's a business. The only thing HBO cares about it is that K2 drives the car for whatever reason.

I honestly think Lil'G has finally caught up with the American greed for dollars just like everyone else, which is why he's just gone with the flow from all the media. He knows fully well his comfort zone at 160.

The most obvious thing from Golovkin is that he's never had an honest hunger for the sport. Who knows what goes on in his mind, but he's laying on a bed full of excuses and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended his career in 2 years time by just justifying what 160 greats did before him. That's all fine, but then how in the hell do Lil'G pacboyz crap on other fighters moving in weight. It's all trollism, and what makes this site crap. The site gets a hell of amount of traffic, so for them it's all fun and games, and we all know that many NSB teamsters have alts here...

They know Golovkin doesn't take risks.
I stopped reading after 'never had hunger for sport'
Hahah i know he had f all of an amateur career and basically fell into a silver medal. Dont think he even trained for it.

Nothing ever surfaced about any official offer except what Golden Boy has said at the post fight press conference and no details were given. Anything pointing towards there being one or not being one is just hearsay and frankly doesn't matter at all. We DO know some facts here. When forced to negotiate, Golden Boy chose to not negotiate and drop the belt. That is the only clear thing in this whole ordeal. They blamed a court case, artificial deadlines, Canelo's body not being ready, etc, then a couple weeks later they had a fight signed with Liam Smith at 1 pound south of middleweight.

Not siding with any team in this, but Golden Boy had the opportunity to negotiate then purse bid, but instead they took their fighter down a weight class and fought the paper champion in the division. Those are the indisputable facts on this case. Further, if an offer WAS made, it clearly was not for later this year. If a case can be made by either team for ducking anyone, the excuses have poured out of the Golden Boy camp for almost 2 years now.

Had Golden Boy and ODLH wanted this fight to be made, they would have fought this past Saturday in Texas and had just as many people, and a LOT more PPV sales.
