canelo has at least went up against the best. the kid knows his place. people say "everything has been handed to canelo thats why he got those fights, and thats why golovkin find it so tough to get fights" I'd say it's a mixer. canelo was also willing to be the B side against someone like mayweather. had no problem with it he just wanted to prove that he could beat the guy.

golovkins main problem is that he doesn't want to give into good offers or give into any sort of demands. he really seriously thinks he should be getting 20 million vs canelo. this is gonna kill his career.

Most of the Lil'G trollers are most likely NSB staff or its writers trolling around and not liking that the underground massive know more than them. lol They hate it. Steve Kim and his Tree house buddies and their alts.

Well 10m out of a potential $100m plus event is a slap in the face. Canelo does 500k buys without GGG but we know this will do US 1m buys plus the worldwide extras and massive gate. I think 60/40 split and K2 accepts its still more than both will ever earn without each other.

So why are GGG fans saying an offer for next Sept isn't a serious offer? We just saw Ward and Kovalev agree to a fight a year in advance. Oscar is giving Loeffler something in writing but Loeffler seems to have lost his pen.

I think most reasonable people can gather that Golden Boy has not yet made an official offer to K2 (despite the planned story they tried to say after the fight). If/When they do, then its a different story. Every promoter that has worked with Tom says he is very easy to make a deal with. If Canelo actually wants the fight, it will happen.

i really don't like tom. the guy is a slime ball...you see the problem is tom isn't dumb, but he thinks the golovkin die hards are as dumb as a box of rocks & he's feeding off of that. instead of denying the claims of oscar, instead of setting the record straight he dances around the questions FEEDING off of the fans ignorance. "well my phone is on & if canelo vs golovkin will be made. team canelo will just make it" putting the blame back on canelo which the ignorant die hards are so ready to attack canelo anyway. you know what that's called in the business world? (not disclosing anything while hoping the public will be ret@rded enough to buy it. in which the golovkin public have bought it) tom has a 10 mill 160 ppv upside deal. how in the **** does it get better then that for golovkin?

this is disgraceful. this man is 35 years of age. fought no one to be in the p4p list. this is why golovkin gets ****ted on. everyone says that it's racism but no. it's a ****ty team with no motivation to take on big fights or risks if not mayweather numbers. golovkin doesn't deserve ****. nothing. nadda. apart from the deal that he's gotten from golden boy. to be honest thats A deal thats over what he deserves and he turns it down?
That's not just Loeffler, but also Abel, and milking the spotlight as the trainer known for his big EGO.

Abel Sanchez is the one who runs the unit, and Loeffler has to make sense out of the circus act of a resume. HOWEVER, Loeffler can't get away with these things without the help of industry affiliates and the networks. They all know what's going on, and ultimately it's a business. The only thing HBO cares about it is that K2 drives the car for whatever reason.

I honestly think Lil'G has finally caught up with the American greed for dollars just like everyone else, which is why he's just gone with the flow from all the media. He knows fully well his comfort zone at 160.

The most obvious thing from Golovkin is that he's never had an honest hunger for the sport. Who knows what goes on in his mind, but he's laying on a bed full of excuses and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended his career in 2 years time by just justifying what 160 greats did before him. That's all fine, but then how in the hell do Lil'G pacboyz crap on other fighters moving in weight. It's all trollism, and what makes this site crap. The site gets a hell of amount of traffic, so for them it's all fun and games, and we all know that many NSB teamsters have alts here...

They know Golovkin doesn't take risks.

So the talking point magically changed from "nobody is going to force me to fight", to "i'm a junior middleweight", to "who has golovkin beat?" to "we made an official offer 30 days ago"? Ok lol

Tom said they have had some discussions. I think that is probably what happened.

Golovkin has been ordered to fight Jacobs. That is the immediate priority which we as fans, should be happy about.

Tom and Abel have been asked directly if an 8 figure offer was made and neither has denied it.

Of course he wants it in writing, it's not like De La Hoya can be trusted with his words.

It's true, but we didn't see the contract Oscar sent. And now knowing that it's 8 figures, we know it's probably 10 million no split.

Is it a fair offer? no. And we don't know what else the offer has in it.

People who shitted on GGG's team for not giving BJS the max amount for the unification fight are the same ones telling GGG to take anything just to make the fight.

Your acting like we saw the deal and know all the details, but we don't.

And if you look at the Ward-Kovalev deal, is it really building hype at this point? Ward beat one good light heavyweight and is given the shot at the lineal champ? Ehh.

And everything that has happened in between the signing and the actual fight day, doesn't make me wanna see the fight any more.

If you look at it objectively, it's clear Ward wanted the tune up fights. And it made him look worse that his fight with Brand only avged 750k and it was at primetime. Kovalev-Ward could've happened when it was signed.
