Saul Canelo Alvarez has Absolutely nothing to prove against GGG.

Win, lose or draw at the tender age of 26 Canelo has already shared the ring with guys like Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, Trout & Lara. You saw it last night how the kid was able to gather over 40k people at the stadium. Wheter you like it or not the kid is boxing biggest Superstar today.

There's plenty of interesting fights for him at 154 or 160. He could really well continue to make his way without GGG. Canelo/ Charlo's. Canelo/ Andrade. Canelo/ Quillin. Canelo/ Jacobs. Canelo/ Saunders. Those are all big events waiting to happen.

It's Gennady Golovkin who should prove himself and move up to 168 already. Enough of staying at 160 to feast on 154ers and 147ers.

If i was Canelo i would just outright sht on GGG. Treat him like a btch and tell him to bend over if he wants the fight.

Mayweather completely bend over for the De La Hoya fight and it paid off really well...why can't GGG do the same?

    Do your thing Canelo!

Truth is GGG is the one who needs to step his game up cause his resume is below average and time is not on his side..but if Canelo fights at 160 he has to fight GGG and there is no reason he shouldnt

Maybe nothing to prove to GGG, but if he wants to prove to himself as the best as he says, then he should fight the guy everyone wants him to.

But why would anybody not want the fight to happen. As a boxing fan, everyone should want to these fights to happen if we watch it for entertainment. We don't gain anything from a fighter showing their muscle in the contract stage and not fighting guys because he has nothing to prove. As a fan, we gain when we get the best fights. So instead of willing one fighter to make another fighter bend over in the negotiations, i'd rather see the fighters come to a decent agreement and get it on.

It seems some fans want a moral victory in the contract negotiations than seeing an actual fight. Absolutely bizarre considering you won't earn a penny from it. If anything it's going to cost you.

Yes he fought Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, Trout & Lara, lost to Mayweather, beat an old Cotto, an old Mosley, won a close decision against Trout and Lara, doesn't sound that impressive, considering he is supposedly the best fighter in the world.
And what has to do the fact that he is popular with fighting GGG?, that's just an excuse, any fan of him isn't getting money from him, so it doesn't matter how much people he puts in the arena, because only his team and Dela Hoya are going to get the money, the fans needs to stop crying about who is more popular or getting more money when they never will see a single dollar of that money and need to start to care about fighters fighting the best.

The nickname p*ssyrican is fitting. The light heavyweight ginger is the 160 lineal champion, so your saying just because ginger is p*ssy golovkins going to get denied the chance to be lineal at the weight class he dominates?

They should not give GGG nothing damn near %50. Ggg has made a name off Canelo.

Funny... When Cotto won the MW belt he somehow had a lot to "prove" by fighting GGG. Canelo...not so much because he lost to Floyd, beat senior junior welterweights named Miguel and Shane...

              Canelo fans are funny.

              War Nelo doe.

At the TENDER age... Canela fans have lost all dignity and bravado lol. Look at that vocabulary lol, their attitude changed real quick with Gennady around.
