Ward is right about Main Events but Roc Nation as a boxing promoter aren't in a much better position.

They have Ward who isn't much of a draw. Kovalev got a big cheer on the screen last night and it stayed silent for Ward, in Ward's own country. They have Cotto who will be retired soon and probably finished anyway and Rigo who probably couldn't even talk his own family into watching his fights. And everybody else is virtually unknown.

Roc Nation has Miguel Cotto, Andre Ward, Guillermo Rigondeaux, and a nice handful of prospects (with Dusty Hernandez-Harrison and Luis "Cuba" Arias being the better chances to break out, imo)

Ward may not get the ovations in Texas, but he's got a growing fanbase in Oakland (10k people in the building, on at least near million-dollar live gates), has TV interested in him (if he beats Kovalev, Showtime and HBO will both be at the table with money for the rights to his fights), and he's the type of talent that could end up taking a residency with MGM Resorts in Las Vegas (last American Olympic gold medalist, p4p #1 fighter on the planet, but also a good guy [instead of a perceived villain]).

Cheer aside, what's the biggest audience that's ever actually come out to see Kovalev?

He's an intelligent guy too, he's an example of having an intelligent team around him and a great boxing brain also yet the guys he's facing he isn't needing to draw upon boxing skill and talent. As ****** as it sounds it's as though he's put on a poor performance vs Brook to rope a dope to get Jacobs, Saunders and Canelo.

Andrea Ward is being disrespectful to ring warriors like Isaac Chilemba and Curtis Stevens! They are not prima donna diva princesses and don't resort to head butts and clamping their opponents' arms.
