Stop generalising please.... You are part of this problem when you make statements like these.

Hopkings to light heavy and fought Tarver. The est in both divisions, thats risk taking.
I've been watching boxing long enough to know that a welterweight who has fought in 4 different weight classes is not ducking or lacking in risk taking when he doesn't fight middleweights. If you posted with your brain instead of your female like emotions you would understand this .

Please tell me which fighter Mayweather moved up to fight that was "weak? " Castillo? Delahoya? Cotto? Or Canelo? All were the top fighters in their division when Mayweather fought them.

Now name any fighter on Golovkins resume that's riskier? I'll wait.

LOL "@Marquez moved up to 135 to fight Diaz." Embarrassing example on your part. Also Hopkins made his pro debut at light heavyweight. His situation is not comparable to Mayweather's.

GGG wanted to take risk against pfp no1 fighter fkloyd. But Floyd didn't want none of it.
Fighting PFP no1 is very risky as chance they will outclass you.

An old part time DLH was a risk to Floyd and yet Floyd stans can't see him as an ATG.

Cotto was damaged goods. It was good but Margarito/Pac wins over him are better.

You right on Golovkin though. He hasn't taken a risk like Floyd with Castillo.

Castillo wasn't considered a huge risk at the time because Castillo already had many losses and was a significant underdog. It was a risk in hindsight only. Those were the pre-juicing days of Floyd though before it was USADA and IVs. Castillo clearly won the first fight.
