Congratulations on Canelo Alvarez' win tonight against a very game and solid undefeated opponent in Liam Smith. However, no matter how impressive this victory was, Liam Smith is no Gennady Golovkin.

Ginger will still have his work cut out for him in that bout. He knows that GGG is a relentless pressure fighter, who cuts off the ring well and likewise, someone who possesses tremendous punching power and stamina too.

Golovkin is going to force him into a firefight, of the likes, of which he has never seen before. Personally, I don't see enough firepower from Canelo to either deter or discourage Gennady's aggression.

Yes but wait people, did or would Golden Boy Promotions have said Canelo will fight Golovkin at the normal 160 lbs middlweight limit, or try to get GGG down to 155 lbs or something like that? That is the big question.

Having seen Oscar actually talk about it, it wasn't even for an immediate fight. He's trying to play negotiations for this theoretical September 2017 fight they're saying they want.

So yeah, nothing serious here. Just duckers trying to pretend they don't quack.

Canelo and Ward playing the same ****** games. When pressed to fight GGG after the Khan fight, Canelo says Mexicans dont' **** around and then chickens out by giving up the middleweight belt. Finally, after the Liam Smith fight...oh we offered GGG a contract and he didn't sign for September 2017. STFU Canelo. People who knows boxing know Canelo and Oscar are trying to save face. It's simple as that. Wards turn. Ward said we offered GGG a contract to fight.....oh after GGG had already signed to fight Lemieux. Now Ward is claiming I got the email...I got the email proof that I offered GGG to fight ONE YEAR LATER. What's up with Canelo and Ward OFFERING contracts to fight a year later. LMAO Canelo and Ward.

I'm a big GGG fan but at this point in his career in terms of draw Canelo is still the A side, so a 60/40 or 70/30 split in favor of Canelo is actually fine with me. What will happen is GGG will turn Cinnamon (Canelo) into nut meg and GGG will become the draw. It's good for GGG to sacrifice little money to get the big money in return. So money is not the problem in my opinion. The problem is Canelo playing the weight games and other BS.

Andre ward and canelo fighting on HBO PPV whIle GGG is not! He's got the worst people running his career letting him turn down the biggest fights for one lame excuse after another. He's got a long history of other fighters and promoters calling him a liar and difficult to negotiate with that's why he has no relevant fights. That's why he hasn't made a single fight fans have wanted. Meanwhile ward and canelo have 2 of the best resumes in boxing with a long track record of making the fights against the names fans want. GGG going to be 40 before he steps up his level of opponents. Get ready for another fight with bums like wade. And let's see what other WW GGG is going to beg to fight him next. Anything to avoid taking a risky fight I guess. Just like 154 or 168 but push come to shove refuses both. SMH

... look at what team Canelo did in the last two weeks: selling tickets by using GGG's name...

... Oscar plans 2 fights until Sep 2017... and he wants GGG's "endorsement" in order to make loads of money on those shit fights... a good plan, though...

You really think any of those fans who showed up give 2 craps about GGG? Canelo been a huge draw long before anyone started mentioning GGG as an opponent late last year. He the superstar and biggest draw in boxing GGG needs to name drop him not the other way around. GGG fans already look ****** for months saying canelo lost his Mexican fans and they all GGG fans now. HAHAHA 51,000
