I'm sure the truth is somewhere in between all the different stories we've heard about a 5 year old sparring session. I'll wait for a year or two for an actual fight between the two to make judgement. On actual TV. Actually filmed. IMO it's a 50/50 fight, and one I look forward to, no matter the outcome.

Sometimes sparring sessions hurt ....it can also lead to some inner fear if you are up against someone who has your number n terms of style and power.......if you are a young pro still growing and your getting the **** punched out of you by a fighter that's been told to ease up on you ..gennady golovkin must have instilled fear in the boy that's all I can say and canelo is mentally afraid of getting the beating of his life inside the ropes if he faces golovkin again. ....WAR TRIPLE GGG

GGG fanboy/Floyd hater logic: Canelo was too young and green when he fought Floyd. So the win for Floyd is irrelevant. But 3yrs earlier, he was a primed elite fighter when GGG supposedly got the better of him in a dip**** sparring session. Therefore GGG is a boxing god.

Fight isnt as one sided as people think... I think GGG is the favorite but Canelo is a live dog
