Are you ******ed? Of course it doesn't make business sense to pay Lara 3m or Jacobs 4-5. You're losing millions, for no hopers. That's called pricing yourself out. Ffs Ggg never made more than 2m himself in the US, how can these non en****** demand more?

He got 1m for Delvin a month later ffs, and now they're using that as a benchmark. Nevermind that Haymon fighters were banned from HBO when Hershman was around.
      did i lie??
if anyone is lying here is on gggs team....

Since losing to canelo he has fought:

        Ishe Smith
        Delvin Rodriguez
        A Doorman from slovenia
Vanes in a rematch literally no one wanted to see.

In 2 year's he has fought nobody, no intention of fighting top contenders, let alone belt holders and now we're all desperate to see him fight the middleweight champion of the world

No doubt all the boxing hipsters will use the exact same exuse GGG fan's use.

' but but but no one wants to fight him doe'
So whats the issue with GGG fighting Lara?

Lara should be an easy style match up for Golovkin. One, he fights on the outside, where Gennady can get the full extension on his punches. In addition, he is not a huge puncher either.

You did, you knew it wasn't even an option for that date. At least you should have, if you'd used any common sense or followed boxing then

Per Lara's manager "Lara commands a lot of money, fight won't be easy to make". If you rep a zero draw no hoper from a division lower, that's supposedly been itching the dominant A side champ for years, it's your job to make it easy to make.

The reason why Team Golovkin is probably avoiding that fight because there is not much of an upside from it. Lara is not this huge crossover, box office draw with a casual fan base.

My advice to him is to get in line and start campaigning at the 160lb weight division, in order to get himself in title contention like Daniel Jacobs. That is the only way he is going to get Golovkin's attention or to acknowledge and notice him.

Loeffler offered Lara and Mora to Sanchez and he shot them down quickly. He didn't think either one of them had done much to deserve a shot vs GGG.
