Andre Ward Video Interview - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will try to regain a share of the world super welterweight crown he last held three years ago by dethroning Britain's undefeated Liam "Beefy" Smith on Saturday. Both fighters made the junior middleweight limit of 154 on Friday, with Canelo fully stripping down to make it.

Andre is coming to win! This should be a good fight! Don't be surprise if Ward takes Kovalev to school. Ward is a specialist in breaking down opponents. I got a feeling Ward is going to frustrate Kovalev.

Thats whats going to happen , Kov is too mechanical for Ward I think Ward will win clearly .

Wards interviews are like his style in the ring the guy is genuine and very intelligent , I liked when he said " we dont tell you what we are going to do , we just do it " .

Ward won't see the final bell.

Ward sounds extremely confident. Said all the right things. I agree with him 100% when he said he shouldn't have to walk across the room to shake Kovalev's hand. Pay all the respects after the fight but I'm a fan of fighters that show intensity leading up to the fight. It creates more excitement and feels more "real".

agreed. ward is gonna be grabbing and holding every chance he gets. kov is gonna get thrown off his game plan and comes charging in, ward will pick him apart after that.

Cue the idiots who say, "He's arrogant!"
Gotta be the most down to earth, honest boxer I've ever seen interviewed. Consistently a class act. That drives the haters crazy.

They both are winners so it will not be easy for any fighter. If you are a real fan of boxing then you will understand that. Ward has fought the better opponents but is smaller. Kovalev is taller and hits harder. Ward has the boxing IQ and experience technically. Overall Ward is better but Kovalev is a monster. Pick 'em fight in my opinion.

                  Agreed.
Struck me how he was kinda bored with the interview then became really focused and looked the interviewer in the eyes when he spoke about Kovalev opponents being fearful and letting him have a "field day". It's going to be really interesting how that plays out because Ward is not a guy who lets his opponent dictate a fight, and Kovalev is pretty much used to being in the drivers seat.
