Ask Gennady to up 15 pounds to make statement, won't ask Canelo to go up 5 pounds to make one. Hell he can even stay at 155 if he wants, still MW. Anything to save him from Gennady. SHUT THE **** UP you ****** trash!!

How quickly Hopkins forgets how he waited yrs to finally land a fight with 2 welterweights in tito and Oscar. He didn't move up in weight until he was 40 yrs old and was out of options at middleweight because he couldn't get the decisions over Jermaine Taylor.

97K is content with calling out 147-154 lbers. He makes Brook go up more than 10 lbs, but he can't do it himself. No way would he mention Ward's name without stuttering. Ward has him shook.

            154-175 can get it doe.

              Everyone's circumstances are different.

It doesn't make sense for GG to do it, because he still has goals to achieve at MW. He has 3 belts and he's looking to unify the division. He would also be completely outsized at LHW, as in: height, reach and weight.

Although Kell deserves an enormous amount of respect, he was killing himself to make WW, and he was in a position where he had nothing to lose and everything to gain.

B-hop would fight GGG at 50. Which says a lot about him and Canelo.
In this thread alone I've seen one GGG fan call Hopkins a coward and another call Hopkins a ducker. Only GGG fans.....

I don't recall anyone making Brook go up in weight. His opponent's team had a hard time securing someone to sign the contract. One group contacted the other and they immediately obliged claiming they're too big for welterweight. They could've declined. As for Kovakev, I recall they said no to a potential bout due to being pals. Light heavyweight is probably asling a bit much. Definitely super middleweight though - Ramirez

Right now both Cotto & Canelo are greater than GGG, ONLY because of their resumes! We can't wipe away history because we don't like the guys! Hopefully we'll see GGG dare to be GREAT one day!
You have to appreciate that everyone's circumstances are different.

There is nothing wrong with GG wanting to remain at MW in the hope that he eventually ends up holding all of the belts.
